The Glass House Restaurant in Mid Sussex

Had a great dinner at The Glass House Restaurant.Food, location, service, all excellent. Abbie in particular was really lovely, very attentive and provided a 5* service.First time dining here and will definitely return and recommend to others.

This has fast become our favourite restaurant. Amazingly friendly and attentive staff, great atmosphere, great food and so reasonably priced. Added bonus that their outside seating area is heated during the Covid restrictions!

Had a wonderful lunch today in the Glass House restaurant. My husband and I celebrated 40th wedding anniversary, complimentary champagne and dessert.The food was excellent, as alwaysThe staff were wonderful as they always are. We will continue to visit the restaurant as often as possible.

Excellent all round. We had a wonderful time at The Glass House Restaurant. Beautiful setting and venue, high quality food and good menu choices, topped off by very good service by all waiting staff. Couldn't have asked for more to make our anniversary celebrations anymore perfect. Thank you! :-)

I took my friend for lunch here on a Sunday and the food waa absolutely incredible. I have food allergies and they were so clued up and dealt with it beautifully. The portions were massive and the Roast dinner was one of the best I have ever had. Me and my friend said we would definitely be back as it really was quite amazing.

We were taken to this stylish restaurant by friends a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed it so much we took other friends there a week later.We were warmly greeted and chairs arranged for us by the fire where we had some pre dining drinks.Our glasses were taken through to the restaurant once our starter course was ready to be served.Attention to detail, courteous manners and excellent service flowed throughout our meal.I am a fish eating vegetarian and was greatly surprised to see a very varied choice of dishes suitable for my diet which were superbly cooked and presented. The food was tasty, hot and beautifully cooked.Our friends were also very impressed and will be returning . . .just hope they invite us too!!!!A delightful experience very well priced. Looking forward to returning soon.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were very friendly, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the glass restaurant itself was elegant without being pretentious. The food was amazing! I'm not vegan or gluten free but the meal I had was and it was so delicious and interesting. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Went here for a meal for my husbands Birthday and our Anniversary. My son came with us. From arrival we were met very warmly and escorted into the restaurant. The meal was excellent and the service was outsatanding. Nothing was too much trouble and all waiting staff were very friendly and helpful. At the end of the meal we had two plates bought out with choclates on and Happy Anniversary and Happy Birthday on them which was a lovely touch. Will definitely be returning and have already recommended the restaurant to my friends.

Last week we had our second dinner in the Glass House Restaurant. The first one last summer was outside, to celebrate our son's graduation from Sussex university. It was very warm and the atmosphere was lazy and relaxed, with great food and lots of wine. Last week it was dark outside, with lots of rain and wind. The open fire was raging, and the lighting in the restaurant created a warm, intimate atmosphere. The starter, cured mackerel, was amazing, as were the mains (seabass, and porc belly). Service was great and very personable (girl from Hungary). We have stayed now twice in Wickwoods, and apart from the very comfortable rooms what has struck us every time is the great service, from receptionists to bar and restaurant staff. And my wife was very pleased with the spa treatments. Great place for a short break!

I recently took my elderly parents and my daughter for lunch at The Glass House. From start to finish we were treated perfectly. We were greeted in Reception, shown to our table and my coeliac/vegetarian diet was acknowledged and catered for. The food was plentiful and beautifully presented. Staff were polite and friendly, food was exquisite and The Glass House itself is set in a beautiful area with lovely views. Thank you for being attentive, kind and for providing an occasion to remember.
