The Oak Barn in Mid Sussex

Very nice restaurant. On the inside the decoration as a barn is awesome. Once you are seated there are some table games on each table to keep you entertained, very fun and haven't seen anything like that ever. But you can't play long because the food arrives FAST (super nice surprise, you are used to waiting an hour to get your food in other restaurants, not here!).When the food arrives it's very very tasty (can't recommend enough the teriyaki pork starter!!!) And the quantity of the food on the mains is more than enough, super big! I was thinking of ordering some dessert but I was super full, maybe another day!There is a big option as well for cocktails, mocktails, wine and spirits.The prices are good for the quality and quantity of the food. The waitresses are super nice as well. They also have kids menu which is very nice as well.I will go back again!! Reservations are advised if you want to be sure you'll get a place, although I haven't reserved when I went and I've got a table!

We are dined here twice in the past two weeks and every time the food was superb. The staff are so so lovely and nothing is too much to ask. The chef's food is amazing. Highly recommended will be back next week as it's my birthday. Thank you for your amazing restaurant 😁

What a delightful meal we had today. The food was absolutely excellent. Lamb delicious. Sticky toffee pudding yum and more yum. Your staff are really lovely. Very friendly nothing too much trouble. All in all just perfect!Shame about the blasted road works at the roundabout & stupid workmen who couldn't put out a sign in the obvious place! But it didn't stop anyone going to the oak barn and definitely wouldn't stop us!

We went at the Oak barn on Sunday for dinner.We had a great evening, the place is beautiful and well decorated, very clean too.Most importantly the food was delicious, the service was great too, the waitress Tiff made sure everything was taken care of.Overall great place to bring the family a long.Definitely coming backLumi

Have been drinking and dining here for years. Excellent place for a light lunch or three course meal. The staff are always friendly and efficient. Prices are pretty much the average for good quality service.

My cousins and l visited on Friday. The service was good and our waitress Amber was excellent. Our meals were super. My vegan green Thai curry was the best l have tasted..

We used to love it but it has now not the dining experience it was. Food isn't great and comparable with much cheaper restaurants. Staff all except one seem rushed, curt and not warm or welcoming. Luckily one young lady we had was engaging which saved the evening. I would tell friends of my reservations about going there and probably say you could get the same quality at a much more reasonable price and have much better customer service. We won't be back

Could not find a fault if I tried! Beautiful venue and perfect for the team meal we had there, the food was delicious and the service was perfect

There were 7 adults and one very well behaved 5 year old. It was a Xmas get together which was missed last year. The food was tremendous, hot, served to perfection. The waiting staff were absolutely amazing. I didn’t get the name of our waitress but just to shout out all staff at The Oak Barn. Fantastic. Thank you. 👏👏👏👏👏
