The Plough at Pyecombe in Mid Sussex

This is one of the pubs that offer great food. The menu is large, there is lots of space, plus we always feel welcome due to the extra warm and friendly service we get. There is a lot of outside seating which works great for us a we visit with our dogs

Lovely place with great service and excellent food, we like going there for Sunday lunches, my partner says the lasagna is second to none, and I like the seafood dishes. The lady at the bar always engages in a nice conversation and we always have a great meal out. Lots of lovely country walks in the area as well!

Great service, lovely lamb dish with pitta and rice, great fajitas and pizza.Only improvement would be the apple crumble cheesecake which tasted nothing like cheesecake,too much gelatine used. Not very pleasant.

I had roast pork belly, too fatty, needed longer in the oven to render the fat. Partner's lamb shank was good. GF options difficult to understand. Waiter not sure.

Such a warm welcome every time I’ve been to this gorgeous pub / restaurant. They are so accommodating of children, really making an effort to chat to the kids about their day and what they like to eat, it’s so lovely that they make so much effort in that way. The restaurant is really spacious, a fabulous varied menu, and very good quality / value for money. Thanks so much for another great experience!

Excellent lunch time visit! The pub was clean and tidy with plenty of tables. The staff were tentative and very good. I had a great lamb burger, brioche bun, chips etc. The best pint of bitter I have had for ages. Perfectly kept and served at the right temperature. It was from the Long Man Brewery, a first and I will definitely seek out more. Looking forward to going again and would definitely recommend trying this out. 👍😎

Amazing Sunday Lunch with friends. We were lucky to find a table for 4 of us. We had a mix of Sunday Roast (Pork Belly) was divine, Italian options including vegan pasta, the deserts were also amazing. Thanks again for making our Sunday complete before a nice walk by the beach to finish it off.

This pub's great food is only matched by the loveliness of the staff. It really is something special and I highly recommend their Sunday roast!

We always make sure we visit this pub after taking our daughter to a local stables. It's never been anything other than excellent, the staff are nothing short of exemplary. Always so friendly and attentive. And the food, oh, the food...

A freezing cold Sunday lunchtime and what could be better than a superb Sunday roast that you don't have to cook yourself........ But is so good that you would have been proud to have done so!Excellent quality ingredients, always beautifully cooked, we particularly appreciate the "just so" vegetables, never over - cooked, but the beef and Yorkshire pudding this time were especially good.
