Beautiful old pub, untouched by the modern glam era. Large outdoor area with tree shade. Really friendly staff. Lovely find for a sunny afternoon lunch.

An absolute gem! Atmosphere, staff, food are excellent. Proper country pub. Non of the London gastro drivel here. Happy that this will be within walking distance in about a month. 10/10

Food was delicious, service was good although a little bit slow today. However the delicious bread rolls arrived warm and freshly baked so that's probably what we were waiting for!

One of my favourite old haunts. Memories galore! The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, seating inside and also a lovely open garden area. Food fresh and tasty.

Such an amazing pub. Love the beers and Ales poured from the cask that compliment amazing pub food. Such a welcoming atmosphere with friendly, sociable locals. A nice open outside area which is nicely tucked away from the country roads. Better than any pub in henfield. 5* no doubt at all.

What a find. Fabulous place, with low beams, real fire and a warm welcome. It is how a British pub should be!!

One of my favourite pubs. Lovely garden and everything that's ever come out of the kitchen is amazing. During lockdown they also started selling a few bits in the side dining room!

Lovely quant country pub, family run and very welcoming. Lots of walks nearby for the dog to enjoy also, we will most definitely be attending again.

Superb pub. If ever in Henfield or Horsham area go and have lunch here. Food is excellent, large helpings, beautifully served and hot and staff v friendly. Glowing fire in the grate to keep one warm. I meet a friend here as half way between us and we always have a wonderful meal. Thank you. We will be back again next month!

Went for supper last week and had a super evening. Aside from the location, which was gorgeous, the staff, who were friendly, attentive and professional, the thing that stood out was the stunning culinary experience!!!I chose the mushroom pate for starters, which was delicately flavoured and generous in size, with bread.I had pulled Jack fruit wings style and salad as a main course because I'm always looking for ways to enjoy Jack fruit, however, I'm usually very disappointed.On this occasion I was overwhelmed by the beautiful presentation of the dish that was placed before me. There were fresh herbs and plenty of carefully prepared salad goodies, peppers, tomatoes, cucumber etc, sun dried tomatoes, edible flowers etc, a spicy salad dressing was drizzled over. Much to my delight the Jack fruit was amazing!!! A proper summer salad! Portion size was huge so I took left overs home to enjoy the next day.Price was very reasonable. In fact I wondered of they had made a mistake on the bill. Best value for money and absolutely cannot wait to go back again!!
