The Sergison Arms in Mid Sussex

Improved a lot!Having bad experience before, I was quite reluctant to visit them again, but I should have gone there a lot earlier. We had 4 different dishes from the menu and each and every of them were delicious! The prices are absolutely acceptable, you pay pretty much the same in Rouge or Zizzi but oh what a difference.They also have a great value lunch menu, 2 courses for 12,95£ or 3 courses for 15,95£. And again, all dishes tasty and nicely presented. The service is faultless , so conclusion: well done and much much recommended

Order 7520.Have visited here many times with my girlfriend; regretfully the experience, especially lately, is ‘mixed’, as opposed to outstanding or even ‘good’, the latter of which it should be at this price point.Order the 20 Oz T-Bone on this occasion for £32.50, have it cooked as recommended on the menu (medium rare). What I got was the rarest steak I have ever eaten, couldn’t have been on for more than 30 seconds either side. Impossible to eat the thicker areas of steak, just too chewy.Send it back after a comment or two in defence from the waiter, not sure how he managed that as it was obviously completely inappropriately cooked so as to be barely edible; it comes back cooked beyond what was asked, and without any additional beef dripping sauce, and was dried out accordingly. Hence not pleasant to finish.How is it that a premium steakhouse can’t cook a steak properly? I’ve been to pubs that can handle it better for half the price.Got complimentary soft drinks and extra regular chips but I don’t want that; I just wanted the steak I paid for to be cooked properly.Unless things turn around I’d sooner not return.

What a wonderful evening, we have just left this steakhouse. The interior was brilliant, perfect place to bring your date. Especially on Thursdays when they run a steak and date menu which is very good value if you want a couple of courses. The service was very attentive and the food was hot, plentiful nicely presented. The parfait was one of the best I’ve tasted.

Warm welcome from the start, delicious food. The service was fantastic. The ladies we encountered were happy knowledgable and very efficient. The lady in the pink blouse was very helpful, explaining the two menus running for Thursday evening.We will definitely be coming back

First time going to a Miller and Carter and can definitely say I would go to this one again, the staff were amazing and the food was amazing. All the steaks were cooked to perfection and the side just brought it all together. Keira looked after us so well and made the afternoon that much more enjoyable.

We arrived late on a Sunday night and had the best service. Our food was divine, Surf and Turf and Rack of Lamb. The meat was like butter and tasted supurb, the best we have had on our trip to England. Surprised by a birthday plate and thanks to the manager Joe and his staff for the great service.

The food was Beautiful really delicate on the palette and cook exactly how I ask it to be. The staff were amazing kept checking if we needed anything and had a good bit of banter with us. The manager Joe was a diamond making sure we were catered to 10/10

The welcome from front of house was spot on, we were given a full rundown of the menu, this was due to slow deliveries meaning some items were off the menu (it happens) so it's nice to be aware. The food was excellent as always at these restaurants. All the staff were attentive but not intruding. Really enjoyed the visit.

We went for a booked meal for my partners 30th birthday and had a great time.We were served by Dan, who was very young but amazingly professional, funny and a great server who brought a great atmosphere in every interaction.We were also brought drinks by a very friendly barman (black framed glasses, also young) who also definitely deserves a mention.Both these gentlemen (but especially Dan) are a credit to your workforce and brand and were outstanding throughout our meal.Thank you both very much.

Simply stunning. Ordered this as a takeaway on Uber Eats.And look how it is presented.The photos don't really do this justice.You know how menu photos, paricularly of burgers, never live up to reality? Does not apply in this case.This was the dirty burger. The steak just melted on my tongue. The burger was delicious, the salad fresh and crispy. Chips tasty.Really generous portions, so much so I didn't really feel hungry for the rest of the day, nor the next day to be honest !!
