Went to this pub last night with friends and used a cosy pod. Staff were efficient and friendly. The food was delicious with generous portions. Well worth a visit.

We visited on bank holiday Friday which was busy but we had booked a table.Friends on our table received their food and finished at which point we queried where ours was. Whilst speaking to the waitress it was quite clear she couldn't find our order in the system. At which point she went into the kitchen. Another 20 minutes later (this was an hour and 15 mins after we all ordered), still no food or drinks. My wife then went to the bar to ask again, a member of staff said he'd check in the kitchen, he came out of the kitchen with food and completely ignored my wife on the way past. He then also ignored her on the way back past into the kitchen. Another member of staff was dismissive and said they were very busy and that we'd already been told that our order had not gone through properly. This was not true, nobody had told us this, we suspected it after the initial waitress sheepishly went straight to the kitchen after we initially queried the order. We were then told that it's busy today and that it shouldn't be too long. The staff member was still failing to acknowledge that our friends on the table had finished their food over 45 minutes ago. Also was completely defensive as opposed to being apologetic. When we finally do get the food, we mentioned that we hadn't received the drinks yet and the waiter just said "well there's a really long backlog of them, so they'll be on the way at some point".20 minutes after we finish our food, the drinks still didn't arrive so we cancelled them and got a refund.Seems like this is a failure of management to properly train staff and logistical planning. It's not like this was a random day, this was Easter Friday, the pub should expect it to be busy.

Fantastic overnight park-up accompanied by a very nice meal in the evening. Pub was easy to find with parking at the side and 'overflow' parking adjacent. Friendly greeting on arrival and a very comprehensive menu, more like a restaurant than a pub. All of the Staff went out of their way to make everyone's experience very positive. Very quiet overnight and woke up to a frosty start and views of sunrise over the fields. Idyllic. We were tempted to stay for breakfast but had to make tracks so the breakfast will have to wait for our next visit!

The food was absolutely amazing. The portions were very generous. I am definitely not complaining about that. If you are in the area and want a superb Sunday roast. Definitely visit here. We could choose out of beef, chicken, pork and lamb. Enough choice I would say.

Visited for lunch on Friday in the sunshine. Sat in the garden all very pleasant. Lady who served us very helpful and friendly. Would recommend booking. Service quite quick. Had burger which was a little dry.. Try something different next time. Visited again in February for dinner, limited menu, as some things solid out. Good car park and clean toilets.

The outside huts were great, warm and very friendly, staff were delightful, starters were very tasty but I have NEVER had roast potatoes cooked with the skin on! slightly roasted on the cut sides only...ugh.

Last minute decision to treat ourselves to a meal out with our puppy in tow. We were all welcomed by the friendly and accommodating staff- even a bowl of water and a doggy treat for our pup!Atmosphere was cosy. Staff were super friendly and the perfect balance of attentiveness. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and would definitely recommend this pub.

Came across this lovely pub by chance after visiting a local farm, the food was absolutely amazing and service matched it! The outside area was so peaceful and lovely. Will definitely be returning!

Visited here with our motorhome for a brit stop night. Felt very welcome, went into pub for an evening meal (fantastic food and beer/wine). Quiet location, felt like valued customers and enjoyed our evening. Left in the morning with happy memories. Would re visit without a thought. Great restaurant, good selection of beer and wine, great hosts plus good location. Please visit this pub.
