The Star Inn in Mid Sussex

We had dinner and breakfast here. The staff are lovely and the service is excellent. We had a problem with one meal but they took it off the bill. Breakfast - lots of choice, cooked breakfast a bit hit and miss. But overall good and I’d visit again.

We have had two meals in this lovely friendly pub with a warm atmosphere. Great food and fantastic service provided by efficient staff. Highly recommend.

Yea not bad good service to start with, slowed as it got busier. Food was OK nothing to complain about, what you would aspect from a pub chain.All in all not a bad place to eat

Me and my partner returned here for our weekend away for the second time. I cant rate this place enough. The food is AMAZING. Staff are so lovely. Warm and inviting. I so wish this place was in my home town. Look forward to our trip down soon to try something else on the menu 😋

A really nice place with a good atmosphere, even though it was mostly empty when we arrived. The tables aren't crammed in either, so there's plenty of room.The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was great, with a wide variety of dinners.Definitely worth a visit.

We had a lovely Sunday Roast with the best Yorkshires we have ever had. Compliments to the chef. The Staff were very friendly and you never felt rushed a nice comfortable place to eat or drink and we will definitely return. Thank you

Great food, great atmosphere, great prices. We were visiting the area for 10 days and we were made very welcome each time we went in for dinner. Sara was fantastic and very friendly. She remembered us when we went back in a second time.

We have just enjoyed the most lovely meal, lovely attentive staff, 5 stars thoroughly deserved!!
