Went on a Sunday. Staff were extremely attentive and friendly and the refurb is lovely (both inside and out!)We were ever so slightly disappointed that the menu was a set menu and I was concerned the prices were higher than average but the food was SO good, it was TOTALLY worth it!!They have 0% alcohol options which I was also impressed by. Service was great, food was delicious and the environment was lovely and relaxing both inside and out. Toilets are nice too! Will definitely be recommending to friends andFamily, and coming again to sample more food options in the future 😋THANK YOU FOR A LOVELY MEAL! So glad this pub has reopened as it’s a great spot with so many country walks close by.

Recent re-furbish and change of management has brought this local house to a higher level.Vegan dishes available. Some less usual and more gourmet dishes served alongside the traditional food.I've eaten here 5 times now and been very satisfied.Prices are as normal for the local restaurants.Plenty of room and good service.Wine served was very good.Outside is now a pleasant place to stop for a drink. Even our dog was offered a bowl of fresh water by the friendly staff. My taste I know, but loved the beer range and cold lagers on tap.Great way to end a walk or to meet up with friends.Give the Three Crowns a go.

We had a lovely lunch here today. I had the soup, which was delicious, and the buttermilk chicken “burger” which was also delicious. It came with a good portion of chips. My partner had the fish cake followed by the sausage baguette. They do a nice pint too.Overall I found it really good value considering that we drank a lot.Staff were attentive and friendly. Service was good. Music wasn’t too loud. Everything was delicious and good. They make an effort here and it shows.Next time I shall be more adventurous with my choices. Nice bread btw, it looks homemade.

Lunch with a friend again last Saturday, good to see two new menus, one for a set lunch and one for the evening. Nice selection, more realistic prices on the lunch menu. Nicely cooked food. Staff were very welcoming. Our waitress Eileadh was very helpful. Sad to see very few customers there. Needs more locals who would be able to have a drink and bar lunch with their family. Lacking something for me, probably atmosphere. Hopefully the regime will adapt to local needs as well as maintaining a good reasonably priced standard of cuisine.

We came for a very late dinner on Friday evening and Glen was very accommodating and kept the kitchen open a little bit longer. The food was delicious, I had the chicken burger and my partner has duck, both were very flavoursome. They had ran out of beef burgers but that was understandable as it was nearly 9pm. The decor inside is absolutely beautiful and the customer service was top notch. Will be back again for a properly planned earlier meal😁

Our first visit to the newly refurbished Three Crowns, they've done an excellent job, the pub looks great. You receive a warm welcome on arrival and are seated promptly. We went for the Sunday roast and weren't disappointed, I had the beef, beautifully tender and well cooked with all the trimmings, my wife had the veggy option and was impressed. Often the veggy option is lacklustre but not here. Good value too, £23 for 2 courses, £28 for 3. The staff are friendly and attentive, we will definitely be going back and look forward to sampling the full menu.

This is a constructive comment and not a complaint. Seven of us dined there today. The pub inside has been updated extremely well although it was very cold inside as the radiators were Luke warm. For the price charged we were very unhappy with the food. The steak was overdone and only came with chips and mushrooms - no vegetables. The cod was very tasty but the broccoli and potatoes were under cooked. The desserts which should have been hot came cold and had to be sent back to be warmed up. There was coffee and ordinary tea but no fruit teas. Personally I think there should be more vegetables served with the meals and a more extensive menu as it was very limited. They have only been open for a month and I am sure once they get settled in more things will improve

Nice, helpful and attentive staff, new and clean interior. Burger was really fresh meat and delicious with vegan and gluten-free options on the menu. 👍
