The Watermill in Mid Sussex

I left a 5 star review ages ago after having a couple of lovely Sunday lunches. Unfortunately, the watermill is not doing food at the moment??? However went in for a drink before catching a train and was so impressed with the decor and cleanlenest!! This pub is spotless!! So pleased to have a drink last week... And when you do food again we'll be there!! PS the garden is also beautiful! ❤️ Well done to a very individual and established old burgess hill pub!!!

Nice and quiet in the week at lunchtime. Ideal for a quiet catch up with my trainer.

Recently moved in to the area, went for a few drinks to watch the football.Lovely clean, proper pub! Young lad behind the bar was lovely, very polite and helpful.Reasonably priced!We're really pleased to have found a fantastic pub on our doorstep.

First visit to this pub as we've just moved up the road. It's a proper pub. Really pleased how nice it is, friendly atmosphere, welcoming and pleasant and helpful barman (luke I think?) good range of beers, sky sports, pool table and darts. Definitely worth a visit, we'll go here again.

No frills, it's a pub. We love the Watermill, nothing fancy, no pretentious decor, nice and clean, plenty of seating, the bar staff are nice & the couple of meals we've had there were good, again simple tasty small menu. It's always popular in there and there's a nice outside area in the summer.

Blokey type of pub. Offers a pool table and a dart board, sadly right on top of each other. One or other needs moving but to date nothing has been done. Shame really. Good for a cold beer. Not somewhere you'd take the family for a pub lunch/meal.

One bar pub.Decor cold and unwelcoming in kitchen end.Makes the big mistake of allowing regulars to crowd the bar area on stools making it difficult for visitors to get served they must lose clientele through thisWhen served staff good.

I'm from Essex that travelled for a birthday party. Arrived at the watermill and was a decent pub to be fair. Locals, food and drink were great. Tidy cosy place with darts and a pool table whilst you watch the footy. What else could you need?Would recommend!

Really lovely local pub. It has improved massively and the beer garden is brilliant. A good selection of beers available. It's my go to locally now.

New owners are perfect for the place. Great pub, love the fact that they have proper pub games including pool, darts and a rare but great game of bar billiards.Good beer and a cracking weekly quiz night.Footy on the TV as standard ☺
