Disappointing meal for the price. Don't order the brownie, it's more of a dry cake that crumbles. Portions seem to have shrunk too.The positive side is the staff were really friendly and attentive. They need a new chef of they want to continue with those prices though.

Good looking pub from the outside and also good inside 👍 Went there for work meeting and lunch. I am currently having to be selective with what I eat. They didn't have anything specific on the menu that I could pick but staff was quick to accommodate a made up dish and the chef done a great job. My colleagues Buttermilk burger looked great and a good size. Would go on to paint the picture but worth visiting to find out. Will definitely.

We were lucky enough to win a meal for four generously donated by The Woolpack for the raffle at the Burgess Hill Girl Guides Annual Fete. We have just eaten there this evening and have had a fantastic couple of hours dining in a very laid back atmosphere with very attentive staff. The food was amazing, with the beer battered Halloumi, burgers & fruit Sundaes particular standouts. We highly recommend the food and shall be dining out again here soon. We unfortunately didn't get to see the staff at the end to thank them all personally but would like to thank them all here for making it a really enjoyable evening and we hope to see them all again soon. All the best.

My Husband and I dined in here last Sunday and found it really pleasant. Staff were super attentive, food was really nice - especially the roast dinner. The brownie was a bit more like sponge cake vs. a gooey brownie but wouldn't drop a star because of it.Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a cosy lunch for two :-)

Took the wife, son and Mother-in-law here for Sunday roast on Mothers Day and must say the food was not only very tasty but was lovely and hot when it was served (don’t like lukewarm food).I had the roast pork with the best tasting crackling I’ve tasted in a long time, the wife and Mother-in-law had the roast beef which was very tender and tasty and my son had a large portion of chips & scampi, we then all had pudding (definitely recommend the lemon drizzle cake & custard). Once we paid the bill the landlady came to the table and gave both the wife and Mother-in-law a bunch of daffodils as it was Mothers Day (lovely touch)…cannot wait to go back, would definitely recommend going here. Many thanks for a lovely afternoon.Richard & family

Popped in here a while back for a Sunday roast. The food was good in terms of quality and portion size, and contrary to some other reviews on here, I thought it was reasonably priced for what you got.I would proper not recommend the Woolpack as a drinking pub, it's definitely got more of a gastro/restaurant vibe to it, and not actually being able to go and order or sit at the bar is a shame. It looks as though management have already taken this on board and plan to hire more staff to open up the bar serving again in the summer, so perhaps I'll revisit once it's got that pub element back.

Stopped in for dinner, whilst visiting family. Staff all very friendly and with a great warm welcome. We had a burger and the chicken fajita which were both good. A good taste and balanced portions. The value is also good. The seating is well spaced and comfortable. Well recommended.

The landlord and landlady were very friendly they both came over to welcome us and make sure everything was ok. Nothing was to much trouble. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Nice looking pub, food wasn't bad, service was a bit slow.

A lovely large garden area divided very attractively onto many discrete areas, no feeling of being close to housing or roads.Very pleasurable.A nicely prepared and presented lunch.
