Was a nice place and nice service the portions was a bit weird and didn't get much of the curried goat, the chefs specials was nice but the rice and peas was disappointing not as much flavour as I thought here would be could tell was just kidney beans and rice no other authentic seasoning, the highlight of the night was the curried chicken and the wings they served as the chefs special the salads was great including the coleslaw I would recommend but the portion sizes aren't what they should be if there charged more ir would be better so you can get more it was filling and the jerk chicken was alright recommend if you want good music good vibes and overall a nice dining experience

We wanted to try something different to eat with the kids and decided to give this place a go last night…and we can only say that we are so happy we did. The guy who seemed to be either the owner or the manager was fantastic and kept our drinks topped up whilst also advising us on things to eat for both us and the kids. The food came quickly and was so good. So many things we had never tried and we pretty much ate it all…along with the amazing deal on the rum based cocktails it made for a fantastic night for the whole family. We will definitely be back when we return to Rushden lakes

Awesome food and nice atmosphere for an afternoon of food which was more than enough at a great price

Five stars for service and value for money. Their banquet at £12 a head was delicious and more than we could eat. Jerk chicken, barbecue chicken, goat curry (though they were out of goat so we had chicken curry), rice & please, plantain, salad, coleslaw, bammies & chips! The only thing was that we found the barbecue chicken way too sweet for our taste & most probably too many carbs but I haven't marked them down as that's personal preference. Will definitely go again & again!

Went here again after two years and food still as lovely. We had the Chef's banquet and SOOOO much food, we were full but so delicious. Washed done with a couple of lovely cocktails. My teenagers like spicy food so loved the true Jamaican experience. Would recommend and I look forward to go to their beach party night on Saturdays

Absolutely fantastic food! I had the Jerk chicken burger and it was amazing, perfect amount of heat and spice, great flavour! The chips were great too! The others with me shared the tempura prawns and the BBQ chicken, which they loved so much they requested extra sauce and were trying to find a way to take the left over sauce home (since there were no left overs of the actual food) plus the prices are very reasonable, everywhere else there seemed to cost a fortune..The staff was also fantastic, unfortunately I didn't get their names, but they were friendly, warm and welcoming!We will 100% be going back!

Love this place. Food is amazing. Beautifully cooked and Soo tasty, walk in and it smells delicious. It's like a little get away and when you open the door it's literally like being on holiday. Only downside is no baby changing and we have a 2 week old. Other than that I could go here daily the food is gorgeous

Visited Saturday and it was one of the only restaurants that had space. We sat as soon as we went in but did not know what to do next. Once I did go to the bar I was told we had taken a reserved table, but the staff made space for us. Once we ordered our food and drink, we were not disappointed and cannot wait to visit again.

Every time i come to BMY the food and service are always exceptional, the reggae music played brings a great lively atmosphere to the small establishment. Having been placed between some of the biggest known food names such as greggs, five guys, nando's etc. It often goes unnoticed by passers by but i urge you to not sleep on Blue Mountain Yard.It is Amazing!!

Love this place.Food is amazing, very simple and tasty.Staff are very polite and always make sure to ask if there is any allergies.We always have Yard Wings, Jerk chicken burger bammi and plantain.Talking about fresh coconut water... Cant get better that this 🥥Fresh Thai coconut served to the table.Compliments to the Chef and all thee staff !!! 👏👏👏
