I had quite an awful experience at Ganges Lounge. I had a visit on 23/03/22 and whilst the food was quite nice (I had plain rice while madam had a spicy naan with king prawn curry), the overall atmosphere wasn't that great. It's quite clear staff prefer the regulars over the newcomers - but I guess it is what it is.

Food is very spicy- I specifly told the water to give me mild spice but the chef made it very spicy, I had a chicken korma and white rice and some of chef's sepecials

Now I know why every single time I walk along this restaurant it is always very busy and has a long queue! It's absolutely amazing!.If you like spice or you like Indian food, this is the right place. Beautiful decorated food, it is absolutely delicious, I wanted more! With great decor, it's super clean, neat and the staff is super attentive, friendly, polite, helpful. Sometimes you find not that friendly staff in some restaurants, but I was delighted that this place has excellent staff. You can make a reservation or you can pop in and see if you are lucky and have a table quickly. As I mentioned before, most of the time there is a long queu to get in but believe me it's worth the waiting.Overall fantastic restaurant and guaranteed to have great food.

I travelled all the way from High Wycombe to taste their world-famous chicken biryani but alas I was disappointed by the quality of the food on this specific occasion. Having ate here before, I was expecting delicious, scrumptious, warming food but the recent purchase of mine was not good. Please can I have a refund. Thanks.

Food was very delicious- I had a naan with lentil curry very scrumptious!. Asked to use the toilets which were not in a good state though. Will recommend but use bathrooms at home.

Can't recommend this place Visited here with my wife on Thursday 24th Feb 2022 evening time. Staff were barely friendly one of the waiters looked at me like I was dodgy or something ordered two pilau rice and a king prawn butterfly, came back half an hour later with cold food bit into a prawn and nrly vomited it out. Asked the guy where's the toilet and he gave me the ugliest stare . Food is not the best and service wasnt great. Can't recommend there's better places in MK, don't waste your time or money here

Food was not great, I went home and had food poisoning. Member of staff stuck out his tongue at me when I was leaving (luckily I have photo proof below), not impressed at all - tried to call the manager when I went home but he didn't want to answer the call

This review is from Jan 2021. Waiters are great, have been here a few times, but the last time was for a takeaway at 6pm and it was cold!!!! Couldn't be bothered to complain once home so voted with my feet, because there is an abundance of other suitable Indian takeaways in the close vicinity.

Great food. Fresh, adaptable to your taste. The only thing I would change is to somehow create partitions between tables as it feels like the table next to you is on your table.
