Popped in for pint, friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Beer was good

Really enjoyed having dinner here. I had the delicious pulled pork bun as a main and onion rings which were both perfectly cooked. The service was warm and friendly. Only criticism would be the pub itself could do with modernising. Definitely worth a visit.

Charming, welcoming staff. Great, tasty pub food. Plenty of choice. Cosy pub, plenty of seating. Will be returning.

Super friendly staff at Cowper’s Oak. We booked for a Saturday lunchtime and upon arrival were greeted by some friendly faces which’s straightaway made it a lovely experience. They were very accommodating for our young family with a high chair and a good choice of kids meals. We love proper pub food. You know the sort.. pie of the day and chips or a burger and chips. It was good to know that they sourced some of their ingredients locally. The pub had a cosy feel to it, old and warm with the the open fire being a welcome delight. There’s not many local independent pubs in the area so this was a great find. We’ll be back soon.

Had lunch and it was delicious. Very meaty lamb burger and beef burger. Gluten free bun for one of us; very accommodating with the menu. Friendly staff and an open fire with a lovely atmosphere.

Lovely bbq food! Excellent pulled pork and great chicken wings - oriental sauce recommended. Friendly service and an open fire in a lovely village setting - can’t ask for more really!

You must take the time to visit this steeped in history, friendly, amazing pub! We visited on a Sunday, with our two dogs. The staff are very accommodating, I was able to order something that wasn’t on the menu. Wasn’t a problem at all. Really like the fact that, it isn’t just roast dinners on the menu. Typically most places only do a roast on a Sunday. But, not everyone wants a roast dinner. The choices were amazing. And! These guys do not rip you off. The prices are very reasonable. The dogs are welcome in all of the pub. I couldn’t fault this place at all. We will definitely return.Weston Underwood is a stunning village in Buckinghamshire. Look up William Cowper on wiki, if you visit. This is what makes it even more special.Thank you to the staff member who accommodated my fussiness. He really did go the extra mile. We had a lovely meal at Cowper's Oak, although they warned us they were busy and there was a wait on food, it seemed to come quickly! Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was good!! All parts of the pub are dog friendly and the kids enjoyed the play area.

Good wholesome food and friendly staff, if you get a chance the live music is to a good standard, it’s COVID compliant too.
