Fayre & Square in Milton Keynes

The restaurant has many issues that need to be sorted before I visit again. The waitress was fantastic though. Food was mediocre. Some had to be returned as wrong or cold. Manager was helpful. Some major changes needed.

We went on bank holiday Monday for lunch for six. We booked ahead so there was no problem with getting a table but the restaurant was crazy busy. Our server was very friendly and helpful, even suggesting a dish when we found the vegetarian options rather limited, but the food took a very long time to be prepared. But when it arrived it was pretty good, but quite expensive for what you get.The venue allows dogs inside but when the dogs on a neighbouring table got a bit boisterous staff didn't speak to the owners to ask them to control them, which made the children a bit worried and may have affected other diners as it was quite noisy.There are some tables outside with good views of the lake but most inside tables don't benefit from the view.

Went for a late lunch at the weekend, the atmosphere was brilliant and Kerri and the team were so welcoming. Will be returning 😊

I was not informed that the waiting time for food is 1 hour which came as surprise for me when I asked about my food after 40 min of waiting. Then I was also informed that the dish I ordered is not available. I have to admit that the sweet potato chips were nice and hot but also had to chase cutlery. Despite the nice location today it wasn't a nice experience.

Very run down, needs some TLC,Most toilets out of Order or dirty!Food very small portions compared to the other pubs in there franchise, no garnish etc very unappealing.Ice machine not working. Coke flat.No sign of any management on a busy Sunday.Staff need more training to be attentive.

Updated - Excellent service and very friendly staff. Lovely view across Willen Lake from the comfort of the warm bar and a very comfortable arm chair in front of the fireplace. Ultimate Hot Chocolate was to die for.

If you can, sit by the window to get the lake view! It was a really cold day and it was warm and cosy inside. The staff is very friendly. I recommend the Pink Spritz.

We had a lovely lunch at the Lake Side restaurant at Willen Lake yesterday. The staff were helpful and friendly, the food was excellent and the prices were very good to......... I would highly recommend visiting here.

Beautiful place for drink & having great view of the lake. Attentive staff, safety measures, cleanliness, nice choice of food to eat n variety of cask beers. Just love it
