Good Friend in Milton Keynes

Crazy fast service (though relatively quiet as early). Tofu with ginger/spring onion very nice, great balance of fresh ingredients and indulgent sweetness. Mushroom chow mein a bit oily. Not a local, but would order again if I were. Great to have vegetarian choices. Thanks.

Unfortunately I had such a bad experience tonight from this takeaway. I had to wait over an hour for my food and when it turned up it was so bad the lot had to go in the bin. The chips where so hard that I nearly broke my tooth, the spring rolls literally had no filling in them was legit just soggy pastry, the egg fried rice was so dry and as for the chicken chow mein it was old and Rubbery. I phoned up to complain and ask for a full refund as the lot had to go in the bin and all I got was complete attitude and nasty remarks from the lady who was taking the call. Never ever again will I be ordering from this place I’m absolutely disgusted.

These guys are the only Chinese takeaway who do delivery that I will order from. Lovely flavourful authentic Chinese food.

Regularly use The Good Friend. Very happy with the quality of the food and friendly service on the phone and also the drivers. Will continue and is a firm favourite, is always delivered within the time stated. Well Done!

We have ordered meals from the Good Friend over many months. The food always arrives on (or within) the time stated. It is hot and we have never found reason to complain. We will continue to use The Good Friend as the quality is always excellent.

Been ordering from here for years! Best Singapore rice noodles, original smokey taste from the the wok. Curry sauce is the best! Chicken balls always so moist. Meat is lovely, pancake rolls and to die for. Tried other places....cant beat it! The Good Friend! Thanks 😋😋😋

The food is absolutely delicious here. I always get the same order: Duck Pancake Rolls, Salt and Pepper Chicken and Chicken & Noodle Soup. The Duck rolls are generously packed with lots of duck, the soup is just yummmm! And the salt and pepper chicken is so flavoursome. I will always use this Chinese now, nowhere else. ♡♡♡

We ordered this evening after many months. Our food was absolutely wonderful! I wouldn't hesitate to order again. Totally delicious!

First time ordering from here and I must say that it was very nice with decent size portions. The food was also reasonably priced, the only negative was that even though we spent £36 We had to pay £3 for delivery as we live 4.4 miles away. Also no complimentary prawn crackers which you would expect for an order our size (we may have been spoilt by our other Chinese restaurants) would definitely order from here again.
