Kardamom Lounge in Milton Keynes

Love this restaurant! Had a few takeaways which have all been delicious. Finally visited with some friends on a Friday evening a couple of weeks ago, the staff were really welcoming and accommodating. We all had a brilliant evening. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

Pretty much all we missed over the last year and finally got a chance to return. Has anything changed? Is the same Chef here? Will it be all that we remembered? No, Yes and yes. Is this the ultimate in Indian food in MK? Must be, is it perfect? No, but it's as close as I have encountered in 40+ years of looking.UPDATE...Last 2 visits have been disappointing after years of perfect food/service. Chewy chicken, no spice, tiny portion and then service so slow as to be unacceptable, not even a third full yet it took an hour to even take our order - how about not answering the phone before you have dealt with people that have bothered to travel to your restaurant? Hate to say this but 3 strikes and you're out.

Great menu offering a varied selection. All the food we had, a party of 8,was freshly cooked and tasty. Veggies, vegans and omnivores all happy. Professional staff and a relaxed atmosphere made for a good evening.

Last night we spent £70 on a take away. It's was the worst we have ever had. The meal was warm, not hot.We had 3 onion barges, no salad, and no mint and yogurt sauce. 8 poppadoms with only 4 pots of relish.Vert very disappointed.

Possibly the best Indian in MK. I've tried a few and keep coming back to here.Pleasant staff, food is fantastic. The set menu nights are so much value for money.Can't say how much we (family and me) love this place

Had a wonderful meal with 11 lads at kardamom late Saturday night. Did not book but they accommodated us. Great service and quick. Polite throughout. After the meal 3 of us were left stranded outside when the cab failed to arrive. The manager saw us outside as he was leaving and gave us a lift to Newport Pagnell which was out of his way. What a star. Can't rate these guys highly enough.

Very, very nice curry. The place has a lovely ambience and all the staff were attentive, but over the top.The food was excellent, presented well and more importantly tasted delicious. I have to eat gluten free, however there was no cross contamination and believe you me I know when there is. The best curry I have had in a long time.

Food is always wonderful. Friendly, helpful staff in a clean and comfortable restaurant. A great dining experience.
