Pfff, this really wasn’t good! I mean seriously wasn’t good!!!We waited 90 minutes for our starters to arrive and yes, they misplaced my starter and I had to wait another 10 minutes. We requested that the mains are served as soon as they are ready. This is when we noticed that all the tables around us had a similar experience. It really surprised me that not a single member of staff apologised or explained where our food was. It seems that the basics of customer service are missing.Whilst the presentation of the dishes was impressive, the flavours were seriously lacking. We left most of our mains. We were very disappointed with our experience and will not be returning to this restaurant!Avoid, avoid, avoid!!!

Not a good takeaway experience.Order arrived 1hr 30mins early after booking a 7.30pm slot and paying £7 for it (£5 because of it being for a banquet) to be delivered 2 miles.Although the food was tasty it wasn't what was ordered and there were less dishes than expected - turned out that the menu had been changed but their website which I booked through hadn't been updated. One of the starters had been cut into 2 small pieces, not really 2 servings.Manager said he'd call the next day to arrange a refund but of course never did!Have used this place many times in the past but it's gradually gone downhill, this is reflected in the food hygiene rating which is now only 3 stars.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!Well where do I start with this place, we waited over 30 minutes for a drink.60minutes to receive our starterAnd 100 minutes before our main!Absolute joke of a place, terrible food. Terrible service the food is Cooked in way too much oil with no Taste!I eat in a lot of Indian restaurants around the world and this has to be the worst one I’ve ever been in. No gimmicks, trust me here. Don’t waste your time.

Awful service! We had a weekend evening booking. The restaurant was evidently packed out which is great to see with life returning back to normal post covid. We received our entrées & starters within 10 mins of being seated which was great but our mains didn’t come out for another 50-60 mins post finishing our starters. The wait time was unfortunately too long. We had to chase it up by asking several waiters (at the 40 min mark), all of which did check in the back & would say “5-10” mins but it absolutely wasn’t!!! The wait between courses was way too long & inappropriately lengthy!!!Appetite was frankly gone by the time we did get our mains. The waiter was super apologetic & did say they were running short on staff but imo you shouldn’t overbook the restaurant if you don’t have capacity to fulfil it with enough staff to serve per table/customer!!! There needs to be a balance. The customer experience was chucked out of the window that Evening to pack out of the restaurant which I don’t think is the best way to go about it if you cannot keep customers who are in happy. The waiter did say they were fulfilling takeaway orders also in between but that shouldn’t impact the in-house service. They were frankly neglecting in house customers to get takeaway orders our on time if that were the case. Food was average. Nothing stood out from the dishes we’d ordered. We were offered a complimentary drink to make up for the issue. We will not be revisiting.

Was my most favourite place to eat until it let me down twice. Must have gotten a new chef as the food tastes terrible (specially curries) and had to be thrown out both times... that is over £60 in food wasted! Absolutely gutted as I used to die for their food and now it is flavourless

As we were staying at the nearby Moxy hotel, we thought we'd eat local one night. After walking our of the hotel, we simply needed to follow our noses! We had lamb chops as a starter and the chefs special as a main. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. Great venue and service too - highly recommend!

Best Indian restaurant in the UK! Between the amazing atmosphere in the restaurant and the high quality of the food and drinks, you cannot go wrong here! I ordered a Maaya Special Thali, papadoms and a Caipirinha Passion and the amount of food you get for the low price is honestly amazing. I will be bringing my family and friends here again very soon.

Great interior, menu is banging, staff are professional. One of the best Indian restaurants I've been to in a long time and it feels like a special experience too. Extra mention to the head chef and the owner/host who made us feel welcomed and looked after 👍

Fantastic, relaxed, modern fusion vibe. The cocktails were delicious, the staff very attentive and pleasant and the food was well-flavoured and quickly brought to our table. Well worth a visit. Delicious!!

We loved the restaurant decor and the table we were allocated and the staff were attentive and very helpful. The drink choice was great and even included cocktail and mocktails which is an improvement on the usual offerings in an Indian restaurant, the cider was particularly good too. However, the food was 50% delicious ie our 2 guests we were treating loved it and raved they would return. But sadly both myself and my hubby really were underwhelmed with our mains, thou starters were nice. My curry was no way one chilli heat! Twice as hot as hubby's 2 star chilli curry and was so oily it made my feel queasy. They did remake the curry no hesitation and for that i commend them , however it still wasn't great. Hubby said his curry was ok but had eaten way better. It's a shame as the place is so nice looking and the staff are excellent but the curry choice was not the usual fare and maybe it's more traditional Indian fare but it just didn't match our usual curry house The Ganges. It's a shame as it's more local, walkable and the ambiance is my much more pleasing. I'm hesitant if we will return and try different currys as the use of butter ghee in all but a few curries including my all time favourite of Dansak presents a problem for me. We've been left feeling disappointed yet so relieved my sister and her hubby loved their food. Overall though the evening was nice as they don't rush you out and so it felt relaxed.
