Melis in Milton Keynes

We visited a theme park in Milton Keynes and decided to come here to eat after reading all the rave reviews, so glad we did! We didn't have a reservation and it was a Bank Holiday but we were seated straight away luckily. Delicious food, we enjoyed everything we ordered, also received complimentary bread with dips whilst we waited for our food. Excellent service by all staff, especially 1 young waitress who made my daughter feel so welcome. Highly recommend.

I was so hungry so me and my friend decided to try this restaurant. I don’t think I have had Turkish food so good in my life. I ordered the lamb chops which came with rice and salad. What can I say. The food was absolutely delightful. Something so plain as rice even tasted so delicious. The service I was given by Omar was exceptional. I ordered drinks about 3 times and Omar was happy each time to serve me and my friend. He is an outstanding member of staff. A credit to the restaurant. I am not from Milton Keynes but rest assured I will come to Melis every time I am here.

I have had lunch in Melis and also ordered delivery from their restaurant. The restaurant ambience and service are awesome. And the food is amazing, tasty and full of flavour. The cold mezze platter has quite a few items and all are top notch. All the meat options hv flavour and not dry at all like some Turkish places in Mk. Their portions are good and even the bread they give is quite fresh and yum. This is my go to turkish/middle-eastern food restaurant.

Hi GuysWe had a fantastic Valentine’s Day in Milton Keynes. We didn’t make plans, just we walked around in the town and we got very hungry and the Melis was very close for Us.We just jumped in and we ordered so delicious authentic Turkish food. Yammee! 🙃Finally, everything was perfect and the staff is very nice and kindly.Just jump in ‘n’ try it!

We had an amazing birthday dinner here. We had to change our venue and Melis totally came through for our group of 15. The food was amazing the the atmosphere inside was fun and relaxed even when we asked for music they were more than happy to oblige.

A very homely atmosphere with friendly and enthusiastic staff, quick to answer questions or adjust to queries. Food was delicious. Portions were liberal. Incredible value and a great evening was had by all.

It was also my birthday and the manager and all the staff sang, danced and gave me a birthday dessert ( on the house) this really made my evening. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning very soon. Thank you for a lovely evening.

There were 9 of us to cater for and they did a brilliant job. Kids eating half price is always fab and also complimentary bread (the bread was homemade and moreish) is a nice touch. We were all super happy with our meals, the portion sizes, the cocktails were incredible. I thought we were taken care of really well by our waiter and everyone was polite/welcoming. This was my first time here and what a pleasant experience especially for large families.

I was so excited to visit Melis and get their beyti sarma. While the food was good, the service needs improving. The waitress didn't know what food she was bringing to our table and kept taking it back to ask the chef. They forgot our drink orders and just seemed very disorganized. Definitely room for improvement as it was slightly disappointing.
