Came for an evening meal. Called beforehand to see if we needed to book & the person said no need. When we arrived they had reserved us a table! Food was good quality, fresh vegetables & good portions. Good selections of drinks, lovely atmosphere with plenty of outdoor seating & tables with a small car park too

They say the people make a place and when it comes to The New Inn that certainly is the case. The staff go out of their way to make sure you have a great time. The food is great and is priced well, the drinks are clean and tastes great. It is not one of these new gastro fancy pubs and I wouldn't have gone if it was, it doesn't pretend to be. If you want a good old fashioned pub, where the staff and the people treat you like family and are welcoming, this is the pub for you.

We went for breakfast, really good choice, and quality. Service was quick, staff friendly and helpful. Price very reasonable. Will be going back soon.

Looks nice on the outside BUT is a bit different. Nothing matches all the chairs and the tables are all different, my chair was held together with some screws. The place was very cramped and a bit dull. Food was awful and it looked really run down. The plug is the men's toliet had the wires exposed and was dangrous and really needs to be sorted and the fact it was the plug on was on the hand dryer is unacceptable. Give it a miss. There were other issues but I can't be bothered to type anymore.

Seriously best pub food in Milton Keynes. The mega breakfast is absolutely huge and is hands down the best fry up in MK. And it’s like £8. You’ll need a nap after you eat it. As for the main meal menu it is equally as fantastic, the pies are on a whole another level though. Outstanding 10/10 pies, every time. The kitchen staff should try for a Michelin star.

Absolutely love this place! The food is amazing and the service is just as good! We are currently working our way through the delicious menu 😋 Review by one of the three ladies x

Stopped here for an impromptu lunch after a walk near by. Staff very welcoming, give good service and a nice friendly atmosphere inside. Menu is a traditional pub style but good value, fish and chips, fishcakes, and lassange all on there! We'd return if in the area and if you're looking for an authentic pub meal, you can't go wrong here!

Great place to stop for a bite to eat.Really good menu selection. Great pricing and the staff were wonderful. The reason for a down grade on stars was because I asked for mushy peas and got garden and my custard on my pudding was stone cold.Btw the steak pie was huge 😳Would I go back? Yes probably.Check out the 2 for a tenner menu. Not bad if you fancy a late lunch or early evening meal.

Our first time on a barge holiday so didn't know what to expect. We moored up for our second night at the bottom of the garden at the New Inn. We went to check if this was ok and were greeted by the landlady who was most helpful and said we were fine to moor there and if we needed anything just ask. We booked a table for Sunday dinner. The food was fresh and all home made a rarity these days. We were so impressed we booked for breakfast the next morning. Yet again we were impressed with what was delivered to our table. The mega breakfast was unbelievable at just £7.95 including a bottomless cup of coffee or tea. I would like to say on behalf of myself and my crew a massive thank you for making us feel so welcome and providing us with such good food.

Popped in for lunch last Saturday. Cracking old British pub/restaurant. Right on the canal with a nice big beer garden. Big menu with some great choices. I would recommend the pie, big with plenty of meat in the filling. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
