New Mandarin in Milton Keynes

Really enjoyed our first experience at this lovely restaurant with extremely helpful staff. Don't be put off by the small portions in the Sunday buffet - they constantly cook fresh batches! The salt and pepper chicken was my favourite.

Used to be a fab place, many happy memories made with loved ones.Now!!! Awful, no buffet, tiny portions.over priced, service awful, took plates whilst we were still eating, felt very unwelcome.Shame, I will never go again, and have been going for the last 15 years…end of an era.

Provides great Chinese food to eat in or take away. No home delivery. Very popular and there can be considerable delays at times. Ordering in advance I was told that I would be able to collect my order in 45 minutes but had a further 45 minutes to wait at the restaurant on top of that. They don't take card payments over the Internet so they don't cook your food until you turn up and pay! 4⭐ for the food but downgraded because of the collection ordeal.Update 01/04/22: Service very much improved over last visit, food great. Added one ⭐ back

Normally adore this place. I drive 20 mins to get it. But they’ve changed it :( the vegetarian toast was undercooked like soggy and got bits in it now? And the fried pepper salt chicken is just big lumps of slightly battered chewy chicken. Really disappointed but was still yummy I guess. Please change back:(😂

Disappointment, what a let down! Late service, overpriced menu. The portion is only suitable for kids. You can buy two portions of same food in a regular takeaway at one quarter of the time and price. I will not visit again and won’t recommend to anyone.

Changed buffet from order fresh to now just left buffet out on the side. The Food was cold and not the same standard as prior. I Used to always visit all the time now have been pushed back from returning again. My friend also had sickness and diarohea from the prawns was violently ill. Please go back to the old ways alot more better quality food and less waste.

Superb restaurant. I travelled from Ampthill (30 mins away) and I'll be doing the same journey every time I now have a Chinese takeaway.All the dishes were exactly how I wanted them. The crispy chilli beef was perfect, the kung po chicken, the sweet and sour chicken hong kong style, perfect. The singapore noodles and rice? Perfect.Oh, and almost forgot the Capital spare ribs. Yum!I can't really fault the place, certainly from a takeaway perspective.
