Out Of Office Coffee House in Milton Keynes

This place came to the rescue when I needed somewhere to do some work in a town I hadn't been to before. Chilled atmosphere quite enough to take part in a zoom call, but also not a library. Decent coffee and the Belgian Waffles were excellent.Strong WiFi which was helpful.

The staff are really lovely and it's a nice quiet cafe for a quick breakfast at 9am. Decent portion sizes too. My eggs were a little overcooked but my friends banana bread got great reviews!

Cute coffee shop, looks to be the perfect hotspot for office workers and students. All the booths (although few) have power outlets, and they were happily being used by individuals with Power Point presentations 😄 . They have free WI-FI , and the password is on the menus .The place is overall tidy, but it could definitely use some more TLC.They have tables, booths and tall tables.Having a look around I couldn’t find a clean table, so I settled for a table that was the least sticky looking.They have a whole kitchen at the back, and although I am a picky eater ( hygiene wise) , I ordered some food (see pictures) . Glad I didn’t hesitate to order the food, as the items we ordered (salmon and cream cheese bagel, and eggs florentine) were delicious, even though the ingredients are not easy to keep fresh and safe (unlike a bag of crisp for example ).Happy to say the food was a hit !Coffee wise, I tried the Americano ( since they advertised their special and different from other coffee shops, blend ) so I can better understand how their coffee is better,and unfortunately it wasn’t to my taste.It doesn’t mean it is not good! It means that if you like your coffee blend to be citrusy, floral, than that’s the place for you!Oh, and please don’t expect Starbucks sizing. The coffee is a regular 8oz . It’s a coffee shop after all ❤️To not forget about the staff: the young lady that served me at the till, after I explained with a massive smile on my face how this is my first ever visit and I’m unfamiliar with “the ways”, was extremely polite and helpful.A proper coffee house, with good coffee, great food, and nice staff . Just a little bit more TLC/Cleaning needed 😊.If you read my whole review, don’t hesitate to visit the coffee house, and definitely try the florentine eggs!

Out of Office do the best coffee in MK! I love the Newport pagnell location, but I always try and come to Witan Gate on Fridays and get some work done. They have wifi and power sockets, as well as coffee and cake of course, so it’s perfect to get through a few hours work.I had the Oh My Cakery biscoff cake slice last week and it was amazing.The staff are always the loveliest here :)

Met up with a friend. We were really looking forward to having pancakes for breakfast. It was really disappointing that the chef wasn't in that day. It is such a nice and popular place which also requires booking in advance hence the service and food should be available. I live locally and always in lots of cafes with friends and also my two little girls. Luckily my girls weren't with me then it would have been even more disappointing for them.

The whole vibe was very chaotic and confusing. I emailed asking for a reservation for 6 and if they allow dogs. There is no phone number on Google or their website. When i finally got a response dogs were not allowed inside can we sit outside, i was fine with this. However when we got there, the table was inside. No one questioned my dog, so we just sat down. They forgot our orders twice! Even though the cafe was 70% empty service was painfully slow. Our hot drinks took nearly 15mins. We ordered 3 salmon bagels and they forgot the order. Granted they did give us 2 free drinks for this. But when we ordered cake after 30mins they forgot that too! All it needed was putting on a plate..why they didn't give it to us at the till when we ordered and paid. Food was average. Coffee was good.

Very good coffee , this brunch is bigger than the one in stony , they offer variety of breakfast options, lot of vegetarian and vegan dishes.The place is kids friendly, we walked in for breakfast on Sunday , we have been asked if we had reservation unfortunately we didn’t know that but the staff were helpful and they could accommodate us .

Great friendly service and really nice food. They serve breakfast into the afternoon which works better for me. Good coffee too. Well worth a visit if you're nearby.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit to Out of Office. Had been meaning to go for a while but finally found some free time. The breakfast was excellent, not to mention the Coffee – do yourself a favour and try a V60, well worth the wait! Friendly and attentive staff, reasonably priced, a great way to start a Sunday morning. We'll be back!

Best place in MK for breakfast. Great food, tremendous coffee and wonderful staff. Great place to sit and chat. Needs a veggie option or two though.
