Pitchside Restaurant in Milton Keynes

I stayed at the Doubletree and ate at the Pitchside Restaurant. I was shown to my table by a young waitress who was the star of the evening - she managed to anticipate all my needs throughout the meal.I thought the food was excellent. Everything was freshly prepared and piping hot. Delicious!!!

The breakfast buffet was great apart from the cold fried eggs and cold bacon due to food being left out without sufficient heating.The dinner menu, well that's something that left me with nightmares. There wasn't anything remotely tempting on the menu, the deranged mix-match of combinations of food was just revolting.I really think they need to seriously change the menu to provide a wide selection of international dishes on par with other Hilton hotels.

The food was very nice indeed, especially for the reasonable price. The service was warm, and although our booking was early in the evening and the atmosphere was difficult to judge, the layout of the restaurant and how it flows directly from the adjoining bar, was ergonomically pleasing.
