The location was perfect right on the lake. The service was the best part. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly.

Excellent service at the table. Served by a young lady but didn't get her name. Very friendly and polite.

Did not stay in the hotel part , however had a family meal in the restaurant section . Worth a visit and some pretty good views of the lake .

Fantastic friendly staff and so welcoming. The meals are second to none and situated in a fantastic location. My company have used this venue every year around the Xmas season for the last 7 years, and they never fail to deliver a wonderful experience. Probably one of my favourite venues in the UK.

Fairly clean room, nice location, good price for the room itself. However, we had a toilet that wouldn't flush properly and took multiple times to work each time, a balcony covered in bird droppings from day one that likely hadn't been cleaned in a long while. Also the internet both free and premium stopped working entirely for our last day and we were unable to get the reception to help us, after we had paid extra for the quicker internet, this caused me to be unable to complete important work that day. Parking at the hotel is quite expensive as well and was always very busy at the time I arrived back each evening due to people using it for the sport pitches nearby and I twice had to park a bit away from the location.

I booked a twin room and on arrival was issued a double. Was then told they could not accommodate a twin and they were full, so no option for a second room (shouldn't have to pay double anyway). Then told there is no extra bedding, so sleeping on the floor, in winter, in the cold. Absolutely shocking service, staff were pretty rude when I asked for help.

Bad experience recently late last month. It was a surprise for my fiancee who had lost his dad outside the country. When we got there just after midnight from workwe were told to pay £10 for overnight car parking which wasn't made clear on the booking website. After trying to find out ways of reversing the whole transaction we were told the refund wasn't guaranteed. The room couldn't lock from inside. The TV looked more like a computer monitor. No fridge for our drinks. On the contrary the room was warm enough and bed was clean and comfortable.

Absolutely incredible location. Yes it needs updating BUT the prices you pay are 100% worth it. Olivia was really helpful after an issue with my booking, and her colleague was also incredibly sweet (sorry didn't get your name). In the evening Diana was really helpful in getting what i needed for a good nights sleepTop tip. Try get a room facing the lake, most rooms have a balcony so its a really nice view.I'll be back

A reasonably good premier Inn. The beds are very comfortable and the view of the lake is delightful. Unfortunately though, all the twin rooms are on the opposite side so you get a view of the car park instead. Worth noting that the hotel stay does not include the car park fee which is extortionate! (£10 for 24 hrs). Our main gripe is that the shower was little more than a dribble on both occasions we've stayed here which was disappointing.
