Very long wait, upset stomach for all of us the next day. Bill was a jumble of mess, so you can't tell what everyone had. Food was 5 out of 10.

The tallest waiter was really rude and disrespectful he started throwing my card around because it got declined. He calimed he was the manager but obviously wasnt.( it was a card from Holland and I had some issues in the settings until i fixed kt ) two shorter waiters really nice and the food was top.

Visited the restaurant recently on a wednesday and had the banquet menu. The restaurant was very full, And i think this showed in the food as we were expecting the food to be nicer than it was, Found some of the dishes bit bland. Other reviews and photos wasn't same as our experience unfortunatley. I think this may be because the restaurant was very busy and it might have been rushed etc. Service and staff were very good though.

The worst, and disappointing place to eat. The restaurant service is the worst i have had in my life, in any country i've been to. To add on, the food had the worst quality as well, the chicken meat was uncooked and the lamb had no taste and very very hard to shew. Now the coustomer service, i will try to provide as much details as i can about the waiter that waited for me. The person that waited for me was an Bangladesh i think, the person was bald and cannot communicate in English at all, which im not sure what he is doing in UK.As he first approched my table, all i see was a very heavy attitude with broken english, and every word he said was more like criticism. And when there was an issue with the food, he bluntly said that "every other coustomer eats the food this way and it was my problem that i didnt like the food". Even doner meat out of a food truck has more flavour then the lamb he served. And soon after the chicken Briyani, had uncooked chicken which smelled wired as well, and the texture was rubber like.My personal and a very big suggestion, would be to not go to this restaurant, and waste your time and money in a place that does not respect you and your tastes. And I been in UK long enough, to see whi h are good and which are messed up restaurants, and PURPLE MANGO is the messed up one.

Top class food and superb service. This is definitely a place for special occasions. We stumbled on this place, and what a find. Give this place a try, you won't regret it. Camambert starter was delicious, salad, burger, pork belly & Childs fish & chips were all devoured with delight.

For all the indians who are reading the reviews to visit this restraunt , please do not fall for the reviews given by other country people. This is not even close to indian . The dishes might be indian but its bangladeshi and the staff are tooo friendly. So friendly that they will try commenting or judging every order, every suggestions made by you thinking it builds customer relations.

Totally recommend this lovely place. We were looking for somewhere to eat as we were going to The Stables, and not coming from the area googled the options. Seemed to have a good write up...but I thought I'd be the judge of that, as some reviews do tend to be a little biased.Very welcoming, place looks extremely clean ( always a relief when you turn up to a place you don't know), so things started out very well.We weren't disappointed, with chicken tikka masala, lamb pasanda and mushroom bhaji being the main dishes we ordered, they were absolutely delicious and well presented. Can't fault anything about the place. All the staff were lovely and Purple Mango is even set out really well. Thanks for a fantastic meal...we will definitely make sure we eat there next time we are up that way

Lovely atmosphere really look after their customers in here. By far best Indian in MK. The owner is so welcoming I can’t praise the restaurant enough. Be back soon 👍

Great service. Staff were friendly. Food was amazing. The best biryani in MK. The chicken curry was exquisite and tasty. The whole place was beautiful and clean. Definitely would recommend it to friends and family.
