The food was really scrumptious. You’ll enjoy a variety of dishes which tastes great. The staff were very friendly and provided very good service. I would like to specially appreciate the manager for his excellent service. He personally come to every customers to check if everything goes well and was so kind. My favourite dishes at MK Buffet Village are sweet and sour chicken, aromatic crispy duck, lamb curry, crab claws, cakes and ice cream.

Had my son’s birthday party. Very warm hospitality. Manager allocated an area for the party and a dedicated staff to cater our needs. Staff was very helpful. Food was just amazing. All my guest had a wonderful experience. Thank you. Highly recommended 👍

One star is for the lovely staff who seated us swiftly and served us well throughout the meal. Also for the lovely drinks (esp. the mocktails). However, the rest of the experience eating here was sub-par. Dishes were cold despite us arriving right at the beginning of the lunch opening. Dishes had not flavour, the noodles were dry and tasted like they’d been made in used/old oil. I was excited to taste the sushi but it was not fresh. Most of the food was dry including the dessert cakes which has a crumbly texture. Even the ice cream tasted slightly different.I spoke to the manager to ask for a discount as no one on my table of 6 was pleased with their food but was told ‘look everyone else is enjoying’ and ‘why not? The food is fresh.’ Ended up settling on a 10% discount (£7.85) which still didn’t feel fair…Not in a rush to return despite the overall atmosphere and staff being lovely.

Please can someone tell me how I can give a negative rating! As an Asian, having had eaten their “so-called” Chinese dishes, I am extremely disappointed to see Chinese cuisine being labelled on the board . It is offensive for us Chinese since we do not condone to this being called a selection of Chinese cuisine. The level of food safety is atrocious.. Attached below will be images of the food provided in buffet menu. The sushi tasted stale probably due to frozen month long fish being used. The tomatoes are not ripe and are disdaining yellow in colour. I could list down so much more about the horrendous display of food but one of the worst things would be the mouldy marshmallow turning green- displayed in the close proximity of hopefully edible food (touching the dishes). The mango cake (can you even call it cake?!) looked alright at first glance, but one bite into it, tasted like plastic. The texture was solid and scruffy to the mouth and was a determining factor for us to walk out of the “restaurant” and go have Chinese just across the street. In addition to all these, of around 25 dishes(without dessert), 14 were left not refilled. What was written as Thai squid curry had no trace of squid. What was written as a selection of vegetables had only broken pieces of carrots and staling cauliflower with discoloured peas. The service was revolting as well as our dishes are not being taken away by the waiters / waitresses, It was really a disappointing experience since we went into the restaurant named “MK BUFFET VILLAGE” with high expectations in terms of the name representing the city it was in. I would boldly say that it does not deserve to put the name “MK” . All of this outrageous experience cost us £37.98 which was the worst money spent of our time in the UK.

The venue is clearly very popular. About £20 each for those over 10 and £10 each for children under 10. You can eat as much as you like. There is a good variety of food and was well labelled with regards to allergies. The food for me was very bland. Little flavour / the meat was of a lower quality than what I would have from a normal takeaway or restaurant if I ordered set meals. The one item I did look forward to was crispy duck (clearly in demand) - it was fatty, not crispy and of a poor quality. If you cannot have dairy then that rules out any desert option too. It would have been nice to see an option. To top it off the waiter dropped a tray of alcohol on me and ruined my new shoes. It was an accident and was very apologetic. The result was £7 off our food bill.

This is possibly the best buffet I have ever been to. For the variety and quality of cuisine, this is very reasonably priced. Far too many options to choose from and everything I tried was delicious! Friendly service and great atmosphere. It won't come as a surprise that this place gets packed very quickly, so worth booking in advance.

The only star they are getting is for the drink, the rest is a mix of the experience and the food.Table booked on Friday evening, arrived on time but felt almost instantly in the way as we were told to wait to be seated. As that was happening two women were begging to pay but what looked like the owner say don't worry just give us a good review...speaks volumes. When we were seated we were on our second plate of food before anyone asked for drinks, guy was very apologetic and we understood as he looked busy. Drinks took ages to arrive still and we had to remind the server, again we took pity because he was visibly busy. Then the food, what was there was all over the place. What it says on the website is wrong, says steak but there was no steak which was disappointing because that's why we drove from northampton. The meat section itself from a distance looks terrible, half the sign works and it's a funny expectation of what you will actually get. What was in the main section was limited and pretty much gone unless you likes lots of curry and Chinese dishes of which to be honest catered for the other people dinning. The pizza was initially nice until I had a bite that tasted like I'd eaten a moldy sandwich I suspect this was the cheese. The desserts were all over the place, the chocolate fountain is a great idea but terrible in practice as it looked riddled. Maybe some dispensing machines? The pancakes were spicy as were the waffles, the guy serving it all was just pointing at people and asking what they wanted instead of honouring any queue.Over all we left feeling very disappointed from a combination of poor food quality, poor choice and poor hygiene of others coughing all over some of the open food.

Today was my first time at the MK Village Buffet, which is located at a central location just across the MK:centre. They have a very good service and ample seating for both small and large groups. The food I ate was tasty, authentic apart from being fresh and hygienic. The staff was incredibly polite. They have a range of cuisines from Indian to Italian. The booking process was really easy and I got a text and an email regarding the booking, I made on the website. I think I'm going to be their regular.

Eat all at its best with a huge menu and always well stocked with everything. The Indian dishes are especially nice. Highly recommended for a family or special occasion with friends. Fun dining too for children.

Great lunch selection, friendly staff, clean, no discount for Cineworld unlimited membership anymore, still good value if coming on a midweek lunch time. Great to go with groups or with friends
