Swan Inn and Bistro in Milton Keynes

Nice food, with big portions, nice pub, big beer garden with loads of seating, lovely staff.

It was New Year's Day with a fixed price menu with drinks over a two hour period (£30)My party was about 28 covers and the starters had I believe 6 different elements with two platters per table of 6. Plenty for all to begin the feast!The main course,was pre ordered and was delivered with military precision, ample quality control and freshly cooked vegetables. My chicken and ham pie looked daunting on arrival bit I hope I did the chef proud with a clean plate.Throughout the meal the staff were extremely diligent in checking on drinks and topping up as appropriate.....no element of stinting on the alcohol!I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would recommend for future events.Today was the fixed special menu, 2 courses for £14.50 with additional course add £4.50. There was a choice of 4 at each course and both my friend and I were more than happy with the service alongside the quality and portion control.A lovely meal and good value.

Service friendly. We had a 4 month baby with us and there were no issues.The food was of a high standard and reasonably priced.Couldn't really fault it. In fact my daughter has booked to go again.

Good service and tasty food we had a works function and had a range of meals everyone said their dish was good will be going again 😃

Brilliant meal last night. Great atmosphere, even though we were early and there were not many people eating. Really attentive team and the food was excellent.

Having visited The Swan several times over the years so disappointed by latest visit. Booked for ‘inside’ only to be shown to a separate gloomy room with zero atmosphere to be seated on garden chairs with only two other people in the room! Lunch arrived luke warm so had to be sent back. When it did arrive beef and Yorkshire very good. Potatoes and veg average - ate it all as was hungry. If I could have got a phone signal would have tried to get in somewhere else. Service is good but what were they thinking using that room with dirty window and thick dust next to us on the sill.

We stayed a few days in Olney and I think the Swan was one of favourite places to eat and drink. Olde worlde charm, warm and friendly staff, great beers and the food was amazing. Definitely worth a visit.

Best Sunday roast going for miles around, nice welcoming by the polite staff. Good selection of draft ales, all in a nice cosy pub.

What a fabulous pub. There were 8 of us that booked late but they were incredibly accomodating finding us a table. Service was superb and the food was divine and absolutely scrumptious. The cote de boeuf was incredible. Highly recommended. Will be back if in the area again.
