Taipan in Milton Keynes

Great food! Bit on the expensive side but it was worth it, my favourite are the char siu bao buns, I would recommend they were delicious! We went on a Saturday lunch time and it was super busy but the staff were still incredibly friendly. Would come again :)

First time we'd ever been there. We picked £26 per head for a set menu. There was plenty of food, it was of a decent quality but some dishes were too salty. £2.60 for a can of diet coke, £2.80 for a tiny glass of oj and lemonade. When anyone was served food on a sizzling platter, it filled the restaurant with smoke.

Good food quality with reasonable prices. We were 5 and arrive at 2pm to the restaurant without booking on the Easter BH, the restaurant was full to the top and the give us a table with a pretty fast service. The food is well over the average quality of MK restaurants and there's a lot of variety to choose. 25£ pp we ate like in an "all you can eat". We will come back.

Occasionally come here for Dim Sum on a Sunday. Have booked through Bryan both times and they've been an absolute pleasure to work with. Food is always very, very good and it's a very enjoyable atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Went for dinner last night. Amazing food and service! The spring rolls and pork dumplings were beautiful! You could tell they were cooked from fresh. The portion sizes were huge aswell. Will definitely eat here again.

Food is tasty and authentic. We come here all the time after shopping at the mall. It can get quite busy so book ahead.

We love to try different restaurant for Dim Sum and we really enjoy coming back here for the foods. Nice dim sum and nice staff, parking is quite convenient too. First time on a Sunday was a surprised!!!! Not on the dim sum but the big menu items… really great taste and it does taste the food was prepared but a 5 star hotel chef… dim sum was okay too but not as nice as the dishes we ordered… first time 5 stars…We went the next day (Monday) without kids… completely disappointed ☹️ completely different taste… taste bad……… like HK local Cha Chan Ting but not a good one… we drove all the way from Leicester too… 😭 … 1 star for this visit…So I guess we can only come on a Sunday next time…

Great dim sum. Reasonable prices. Services was good. Five stars for the food.

Despite of visiting the city for the first time, I am sure this is the best place for Chinese dim sum in town. The servicing staff are extremely friendly and the dim sum foods are superb. I will definitely come again on my next visit to MK and strongly recommend other people to give it a try.
