Charming tea shop. Fresh warm scones and lovely tea. Reasonably priced and lovely atmosphere and service. Thoroughly recommended. We shall return.

Lovely friendly staff. Clean and airy room. We ordered 4 simple afternoon teas, we had a choice of sandwiches and drinks, then huge, warm scones with jam and fresh cream. Everything was delicious. I will definitely return to this wonderful tearoom

Very disappointing experience. Went in for tea and cake and sat down in an EMPTY table by the window. The tearoom only had 1 other occupied table. However, we were swiftly asked to move as other people came in and as they were a 3 he wanted to give them our table. Bearing in mind their were multiple unoccupied tables. Not the way to treat your customers and he was pretty rude with it. We decided to leave and he was quite argumentative. Won't be returning again and do not recommend for customer service! Plenty of other offerings within Olney with fabulous customer service.DO NOT RECOMMEND!**RESPONSE TO BELOW COMMENT**Teapots they don't all say your service is excellent at all actually. There were also barely any customers in there to witness 😂 This is our experience and our opinion, I've never felt the need to leave a negative review on any small businesses page but your treatment today was horrendous! We will not return and will not recommend you to anyone else. No the table hadn't been cleared but no one was occupying it. We asked to sit there and it wasn't a problem, the staff were happy to clear it for us. The previous people sat there were also in a pair. It was not impractical and we didn't suggest putting 2 tables together. You had space on the first floor and could have accommodated them elsewhere. It was utterly rude and disgusting customer service. You don't do what you did to your customers. There's clearly a reason your tea room was empty and now we know why.A simply apology would have sufficed so this again is a great representation of your utterly poor customer service skills.

My wife and children enjoyed the pancakes (which were proper, traditional English pancakes, not the American type most places provide). I liked the cheese ploughman's.The service was friendly and the rooms were nice (we sat upstairs).I chuckled to myself when I saw the person add up our bill manually, without the use of a calculator or tablet - when is the last time you saw this? It was nice 😊It's a nice independant cafe, worth a visit.

A nice and cosy traditional tea room located in the beautiful old town Olney. Visit frequently to enjoy the very 'British' flavour anytime during the day.

A beautiful tea room with a vintage feel. The owners are attentive without being intrusive and the food is beautiful. The afternoon tea does need to be pre-booked as it is all made fresh; the scones were still warm from the oven! Highly recommended and we will definitely be returning.
