Came here for the soft opening and if the food on display was anything to go by, I can’t wait to come back and try and full size version of EVERYTHING. The team were amazing, the new manager is exceptional, he seemed to want to speak to everyone and he personally came around to every table to welcome everyone. You can tell he really cares. Thank you Barge, we’ll be back next week to sample your brunch menu!

Visited the Barge during the lunchtime break had a very nice cooked lunch of beef burginion with mashed potatoes and roasted carrots. My partner had fish with potatoes and vegetables. Both meals were very delicious and washed down with a nice pint of Doom bar. Staffing was good and attentive with out being over bearing. Can definitely recommend this place.

Lovely little (dog friendly) pub in Woolstone, wide food menu including burgers, pizzas, fishcakes and lasagna. We were able to book a table online with an hour's notice and the staff were really friendly. Treats and a water bowl for our furry friend were provided, the food was yum. Only slight criticism is the drinks took a long time to come each time we ordered and some didn't turn up at all. But overall the place is good value for money and a nice atmosphere. Would happily go back.

This pub used to be a pub I liked. Not anymore. Today I managed to book a table using the Vintage inn automated caling system. The system was very good , straight forward. When I arrived at the pub, the gentleman who claimed to be assistant manager gave us a table in the pub area. When I asked for a table in the restaurant I was told no, because all tables are booked. I said yes I know, I booked. The same gentleman claimed I should have booked the pub in the restaurant. I explained that the system did not gave choices. I asked if he has ever used it. The answer I received was that he was very busy to discuss the matter. Conclusion, I will avoid the place.

Wow. This is the first time coming here. As was meant to be elsewhere that day. Excellent customer service. Portion sizes more than adequate. And fantastic atmosphere. Alison our waitress was a diamond. She's brilliant. As is your manager. Under the circumstances we were there you all made us feel so up lifting. Thankyou for that. There is nothing to fault here and all your team are a credit to you. Very grateful and good value for money. Will definitely recommend and looking forward to seeing you again soon. x

Allison was an excellent server and made a number of very welcome and well received recommendations to our table. We're very grateful for her help over the course of our evening. The food was well prepared and plated, particularly the desserts. The menu offered exactly the right amount of choice to cover all bases while not being overcomplicated. The bar is well stocked and the decor is exactly what you'd hope to find, especially in the winter.Thank you for a very enjoyable evening

The welcome was warm and friendly. The pub has a good atmosphere. We went for Sunday lunch. We were presented with individual menus with the day's date on. We choose and ordered. The food was well presented, arrived in good time and tasted good. The only issue is that the menu stated several items that were missing from the plate. We queried it with the waitress who said they no longer offered some of the listed on the menu and that the kitchen must have just forgotten to put the others on the plate. We felt quite short changed. As the menus are clearly printed for that day there can be no excuse for them listing items that are no longer being offered. If the menu has changed, change it!Annoyingly, when the table next to us ordered, the waitress did not point out to them that some of the items on the menu description would not be on their plate, when she knew this would be the case. When the bill arrived there was no adjustment for missing items, but as we were there with a relative we were taking out for a treat, it didn't feel appropriate to argue the case.Overall we left feeling a bit duped.
