Only visiting. The bar lady was very lovely, best service ever. Loved the pub. Coming back when I can.

Watch the Merseyside derby there on Amazon prime. Got table serve from the barmaid all night, excellent customer service.

Enjoyable boozer, half decent music. Fairly lively crowd on a Friday night. Not a bad option for a Friday night. Good out door space for the summer. Pleasant staff.

Stayed here last week for work and was absolutely brilliant.. The bar staff where amazing. The free evening meal for hotel guests is an awesome idea. Keep up the good work.. Hopefully be back again

Rooms were dark dinghy and Dirty and smells damp.Beds uncomfortable and pillows cheap dirty and falling apart.Milk left in room were out of date much like the decor!Evening meal I wouldn’t even feed to my dog, it was tasteless cold and very small. Would never stay here again if they paid me.No parking even though they advertise having parking.Couldn’t sleep due to the noise coming from the bar at 2am

Nice cosy place with a large beer garden with a covered heated area. No inside seating at the moment, but meals at this time only served if you are booked for B&B.

We just had the most delicious Saturday morning breakfast, a huge plate of well cooked clean food followed by a couple of lovely pints. A great old fashioned pub with plenty of character, the last of a dying breed. The two lads behind the bar couldn't do enough for us. Top pub.

Have to say as a short night stop over perfectly fine , the food is excellent value, the bar staff are always polite and helpful and the selection of beers is very good , four tvs in the venue all showing different matches when the football is on ! Excellent value for money !Ideal to have a bite to eat and a pint !!However I understand the rooms are a separate business enterprise to the bar , and these are quite poor,The rooms above the bar are fairly spacious and decent, comfortable beds and shared bathroom which has a good shower, TV and tea coffee facilities, could do with a light to the entrance on the corridor but all is good for a very reasonably priced room for £35 a night !However opposite is the coach house which have ensuite rooms and are charged slightly more , these are small mis-shaped rooms ,The central heating is on one setting for the whole building so it's usually on full blast ,If someone uses the shower at 3am be prepared to be woken up as its so noisy..also the boiler is too small for the number of rooms so sometimes you have to wait for a shower !Besides this the walls are paperthin so be prepared to hear your neighbours !Some fixtures and fittings don't work either !Such a shame really as the pub and the rooms above are really decent and great value for money ! Great atmosphere !Just avoid the coach house ! A little investment here would go along way !
