Good atmosphere with kind service.The steak counter is spot on, but basically every single food we ordered was excellent.The 4 star is only because the dessert at the end. After 30 min still nothing, then one of the waitress told us they have some technical issues.After about 45-50 mins of the main meal we got it with a single sorry. At least.But after this long time was expected to be on the house. Never mind.

We have been coming here frequently for over 5 years and until now, it has never dawned on my to leave a review.But this really has to be said, this place, is Phenomenal.The menu, the steak counter, the venue, the staff, the boutique drinks and desserts... and much much more.Also the best value unique bed and breakfast around, with clean and great value for money rooms, everything here is delicious and has never failed us.Forget the restaurant chains and the norm, come here for a truly unforgettable experience.If its a full 5 course meal, a bed and breakfast with a fantastic breakfast or just a drink at the super friendly bar... this place would never disappoint.Will continue returning with all my loved ones for many years to come.ThanksMr Smith

Monday, 28th March 2022 - This is our time dining at the Carrington Arms. From arrival to departure, service was on point, attentive and detailed. They were also mindful we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. We had starters of pigeon breast and kedgeree. Both were beautifully cooked and the yolk oozed from the kedgeree: a testament to good cooking. We had ribeye steaks for main and they were cooked to perfection according to our palates. All dishes were served, importantly, on warm plates. It was a delightful evening with good food, complimentary wines and a template for service. We will certainly be back.

The steak was amazing and most of the staff there were fantastic apart from this one woman behind the bar that was extremely rude, dismissive and made us feel unwelcome however everyone else was great. Definitely the best place to go in MK for a good steak!! We had one male waiter exceptional service

Had a great evening here recently. From start to finish, absolutely 1st class, friendly service, nice atmosphere and top notch food. Highly recommended, but best to book a table.

The Carrington Arms comes highly recommend and lived up to the reviews - great menu, loved the idea of the meat counter and staff were excellent. Definitely go again.

Can't beat the steak bar, and the rest of the food is top notch too! Lovely restaurant in a lovely setting, great service. 5/5 every time I've been there.

The meal was alright - I wanted my steak medium rare but it came a bit too bloody. The side was just a tomato cut in half and 2 mushrooms for £5... the ladies toilet is a joke it is so narrow you can hardly move and when you do seat down your bum touches the sanitary bin which is most unhygienic. The service could be better, the servers sound like robots, no warmth or personnal touch, the seats are too close to one another, mine was actually touching the one behind... no social distancing possible! They charge for everything... £30 if you don't show up, they charge for confirming the booking by text. Basically I am not going to go back in a hurry!

Fantastic lunch, would definitely recommend a visitIf your having a steak you go upto the butcher's counter and choose which you would like the butcher cuts how much you want and that's the price you pay.Staff were helpful and friendlyI would recommend booking as it gets busy

Stayed here for a long weekend with visiting relatives. The accommodation was fantastic...of a high standard and fabulous value for money. The location is amazing.....in the heart of the countryside, but about three minutes from the M1. We had a twin room with every facility one needed. It was impeccably clean, very quiet and the restaurant/bar deserves the reputation it has amongst the locals. Its rural setting is so convenient for the visiting the pretty nearby villages and the busier town of Milton Keynes.
