The Chester Arms in Milton Keynes

Had a great time at the Chester Arms last weekend. The vegan menu has lots of options. Kind of a humble pub grub style. They even had vegan desserts which is a novelty for me! Would love to see some more drinks options in the future, maybe some quirky beers and spirits would be a good addition. The staff were really friendly and attentive. Plenty of parking and outside seating available.

This pub was a fantastic find, the food was great, had the potted mackerel and sea bass which were presented fantastically and the flavours were great. Good selection of drinks also. Located in a quaint quite village this place is definitely worth a visit!

I took my father in law for a quiet pint not expecting the great service and food that was on offer. We will definitely be returning for a meal. The bar staff and manager were so friendly and helpful, even bringing beers to our table. A lovely pub. Looking forward to returning.

Visited with my Wife and our toddler for dinner. The staff were all lovely and helpful, service was pretty quick and the food was absolutely delicious. Will certainly visit again.

Recommended by a MK Vegan group, and it didn't disappoint! They had their own vegan menu with a range of options including dessert, which wasn't just sorbet. I've never had a mushroom garlic kiev before and it was delicious! They even had vegan mayo available which I wasn't expecting. Great friendly service from a non chain pub. Will definitely go back

Lovely little pub, independently run and staffed by friendly people. Christmas dinner was delicious and I enjoyed the very generous portions. Went back recently after a walk from Cranfield, delicious sandwiches and excellent service as always.

What an amazing evening we had on Valentine's Day.I had the Homemade Root Vegetable Vegan Pie and Vegetables with Vegan Gravy. My wife had side's as her main meal as that is what she wanted and was not disappointed. The portion's were plenty. In fact my wife struggled to eat all of her's so I helped her out.The service was outstanding. Very friendly staff. Awesome price also. We could not fault anything. Food was well presented and very hot.Highly recommended. 3rd visit since we discovered this wonderful place.

We found ourselves in Milton Keynes at the weekend and we had already heard great things about their vegan food. So we made a reservation and dined there on Saturday night. It was superb. The staff were great and very knowledgeable about all the vegan food on offer. We had the non-lamb skewers to start and to be honest, we could have eaten them all night! We then had the vegan fish & chips and vegetable pie. Both were delicious and the desserts were just as nice. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and if we find ourselves in MK again, we will definitely be back!!

Honestly one of the best pubs in Milton Keynes. We came to try the vegan food as some in my family are vegan. Great vegan menu, a lot more choices than other places, which is really nice.The vegan basil scallops are a definite winner.The service was flawless and made us feel welcome right from the start. Our waiter Jaime was attentive and had all our questions answered with a smile.My dad said his Ribs were fab! He is a tough one to please.I would recommend this pub to everyone, little gems like this are hard to find and well worth a trip out. We will be back soon!
