Hi George,I live in Wolverton and I was visiting yesterday with my wife the pub. We were there about 5 pm and we ordered some drinks and food. After 30 minutes I had to go and ask about the food at the front of the house and after a couple of minutes the lady who was serving the drinks at the entrance came in the end with 2 plates at our table. The burger was not ok, the bun was burnt and the chips below average done. The cheese ciabatta was not well prepared --oily melted cheese on the top of usual bread. No napkins, no forks and no knives where put on the table, I had to take them myself from the place where the food arrives.It is too bad, because the pub looks lovely and it is a place where we would like to come back in the future.

It was great to see this pub open again and the new friendly manager, only downside is the service is quite slow because it seems the manager is doing about 3 jobs! Hopefully he can employ some more staff soon 👍🏻

Only one member of staff in bar and although not busy waited ages to be served as no one behind bar when we arrived and two people waiting to order. Once food ordered took well over an hour for food to come out and order was wrong. Wrong bread and no chips. Having said that the food was good.

Just want to say a Big thank you to George and his team for all their hard work making our mums wake a success. Lovley venu, great buffet, welcoming environment. Would definitely recommend.

Very friendly. Nice location. Food was really good value and nice. Loved the Cauliflower wings in firecracker sauce. Very imaginative.

Great location good promises but badly run. We visited on a canalboating holiday second week in September, food was good but the brewery have badly let this place down there we're many Cask mark signs but we were told they had no real beer for a week! We were given the very last bottle of red wine in the place the poor barmaid spent the whole evening saying sorry. The food was reasonably priced and well cooked and prepared, don't think we will come back .sack the area manager!

Just had food at the galleon, although we was outside and had a limited food menu it was delicious. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks

Great pub with a nice relaxed atmosphere, an LGBTQ+ friendly pub. We went for drag bingo with friends and had an amazing night! Coming straight from work we decided to eat here and was really impressed with the food. We had the burger, and I was happily surprised to see that it had been made in house! It was cooked to perfection and was very tasty. The drinks were good and the bar staff friendly and knowledgeable. We hadn't intended on it, but stayed until after last orders. We will be returning again and again.

Caution: ⚠ not worth coming for the food. Great for a social and drink, great garden for a smoke aswell but food was underwhelming. Small portions for over an hours wait for simple lunch or dinner. Would not recommend for a meal out, would for a weekend drink. Otherwise 5/5.EDIT: a year later and still very underwhelming. Bar staff are fine, but food again, long, long waits. Ordered medium rare, got given well done. This outlet really need to either up their game in food service or give up hot food service.
