Everything about this place is fantastic - the food is delicious, nicely presented, and the owners welcoming smile. I will always recommend this place.

Starters were okay although rainbow salad was meagre (£7.90 for literally 4 baby gem leaves, 1 strawberry and 2 slices of avocado). Lamb was overcooked and rosti was tasteless.Importantly, the manager/owner came out screaming at our children in the beergarden and feel he could have handled that differently (if you don't want kids to rummage in a beergarden, I suggest you label and fence the area as opposed to screaming at clients). Certainly not worth the £24 we had to pay for service charge.

Second visit for us and this is an absolute hidden gem. Menu and quality of food was sublime. Ambience and surroundings perfect for that back of beyond country restaurant vibe. Service spot on and whilst we're telling everyone to visit, we almost want to keep it as our own little secret for ourselves.

A nice welcome, four delicious meals, great environment. Fabulous that so many dishes were or could be made gluten free- a rare treat- and a good range of vegetarian meals as well as "ordinary" ones. Service friendly and good. Seats comfy. The salad starter was really interesting with lots if different flavours but not too big. Everything nicely presented.

Called in for a quick lunch and ended up having a delightful 3 courses! Plenty of places can do good food but here there is something more special. A real flair for cooking interesting dishes, all presented superbly.A welcome experience and would highly recommend.

Warm and welcoming at any time of the year. Can be busy at weekends so may have to book in advance. No car park and only limited roadside parking. However...This is probably one of the best kept gastro secrets in Bedfordshire. A fine pub indeed. The Sunday roasts are excellent! No small portions here. Huge Yorkshire puds with whichever meat you choose. If the choice is too much you could opt for the duo or trio meat roasts!! 🤤The gravies are meat specific. Veggies are just past Al dente, so just right for me. Finished off with a few perfectly crisp roast potatoes. Lip-lickingly, tasty. The staff are friendly and approachable too. Tell them your needs and they will do their best to accommodate. The fish dish is also excellent. But if you are feeling mighty hungry then the house burger takes some beating! It is not only spectacular looking (some 8" high or more with the huge onion ring stack) but it is also a gourmet burger delight! The accompanying sauce makes the dish incredibly delicious. I couldn't believe I waited until my last weekend in the village to try it.I'll miss this place and all the characters within. HIGHLY recommended.

What a delightful place this is! Just spent a great night here enjoying a delicious tasting menu of traditional Polish cuisine and dancing to a live Polish band. Everyone was friendly, the staff were great. Arthur and his team are stars! Pictured, the intro to the evening for our table. We loved it!

Under new ownership and taking time to bed in! It seems to have abandoned any pretence of being a pub in favour of the restaurant side of the business. But food is not a patch on the Robin Hood (Clifton Reyes) or The Swan (Olney) - and we’ve eaten in all three recently. The service on both occasions we’ve been to the Old Mill this month was really poor, despite not being busy. They really need to up their game or we won’t be returning.

Just arrived home after 2 nights in this lovely B&B... it was perfect. The rooms are comfortable and welcoming, with everything you could want. The hosts were friendly and couldn't do enough for us for our whole stay.Breakfast was served both mornings to a really high standard, with attention to detail 👌It felt like a home from home, and will be returning.Definitely deserves the 5 star reviewThanks to The Old Mill for having us!

An enjoyable evening. Delicious Polish trio of dumpling starter followed by an excellent goulash. A cheese board to savour. An enthusiastic and engaging landlord (Arthur) means you have a smashing pub with good grub. Try it !
