Good service, good staff and of you ask nicely they can que music you want. Only downside was that it was packed every night we were there so it was a bit tight with space. Also only one toilet per gender and no working lock on the mens toilet. Even with it's flaws it's the best the street can offer.

This place is a lot of fun with an amazing vibe. Staff are great and the crowd was really great both nights we were there. Highly recommend.

Great pub in the heart of Amsterdam. It's also in the middle of the Red Light District and surrounded by "girls in the windows" on both sides, so not for the squeamish. The nautical paraphernalia is outstanding. Be forewarned, it gets extremely crowded on the weekends.

Truly a GREAT bar in the core of the downtown Amsterdam area. Happy staff always manage to turn a good place into an awesome place. Loved it so much I went back a few times and got a T-shirt for fun too! During soccer matches expect and heck of an great atmosphere here.

Every time I travel to Amsterdam I stop to the Old Sailor. The bar is located in a perfect spot in the Red Light District. The atmosphere is perfect.It does have a pretty good selection of beers on tap. The servers are friendly and service is good.The bar does only accept cash. No credit or debit cards.Smoking is not allowed inside.It is nice during spring/summer to have drinks of the front patio.It might get really crowded at around 5 PM. Highly suggested!
