The Old Swan in Milton Keynes

A lovely pub, well worth visiting — especially if you or your friends are fish lovers. The rest of the menu is pretty good too, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Lovely food never had a bad meal here but the service more often than not lets this place down, came here yesterday and even though we had a table booked we still had to wait 10 minutes at the bar before we could sit at the table.

Oustanding! Great welcome on a cold day, log fire kept well stoked by a lovely lady who also looked after our Westiepoo Rufus with a drink and dog biccies.We ordered five meals, freshly cooked and piping hot. The lemon sole delicious, either served on the bone or as I chose meuniere, new potatoes and beautifully cooked side of vegetables. A double burger, 2 spicy chicken burger and a mushroom with swiss cheese burger all yummy. Desserts of sticky toffee pudding and treacle pudding top notch. We will be back.

Food and service is 1st class we have had two evenings now at the Old Swan, the experience is as just as enjoyable each time, soon to make it three visits.

Lovely staff, great service. We went for the cote de boeuf and were not disappointed!

We met up with family for a roast dinner and the whole experience was 5*We were given a warm welcome and the service was excellent. A restaurant with old beams and log burners gave it a wonderful atmospere: we got the feeling that most of the diners were regulars from the friendly banter.Our meals were delicious, home made roasties, yorkshires and the most tender meat made it perfect. Desserts were excellent and the sticky toffee pud was mmmm. We will be back...very soon!

My wife and I had a big birthday meal here last night along with 6 friends. We were all made very welcome by Phil and his staff. The setting is great, the food excellent and the service top class. Well done to Phil and his team! makiour evening

We visited yesterday for a celebration meal and weren’t disappointed! From the reception we received to the varied and interesting menu, it was a pleasure. So nice to talk to the owners and hear their passion and absolute delight to entertain guests in their restaurant. The food was exceptional, I’d recommend the seafood, very fresh and delicious. Starter was the Aberdeen Angus steak tartare, if you’ve not tried before, definitely give it a go if it’s on the menu. Main courses of skate wing, swordfish steak and lobster (not just for me!) were fantastic. Prices reasonable bearing in mind the quality, we’ll definitely be returning soon 👍😎

The food is really nice. They have a huge seafood menu too which is always a winner. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The service at the Old Swan is probably better then most of these top end restaurants in Central London! I went on a Friday afternoon and it was very busy but the food came out on time and the service was still flawless. Probably the best pub experience I have had!

I really like the style of this pub. The food was ok too, but I think the steak wasn't the chef's choice. Staff is friendly and attentive.
