The Swan Inn in Milton Keynes

Great Pub with lovely food. Super customer service and nice eatery environment. Dog friendly too.I’ve been 3 times here and on all 3 occasions the food has been great. Can dine outside on summer days. Free parking along the side of the Pub. I’d highly recommend the restaurant.There’s a small choice for vegetarians but still decent options. Nice location and ambience.

Always a favourite of mine and my dog, Daisy. She knows the route here better than I do. Nice to be able to walk to a dog friendly pub these days as Daisy does benefit from the exercise.

Had a lovely lunchtime fish and chips there with a friend. Just the right size so you didn't feel stuffed for the rest of the afternoon. The bar area is in the thatched building at the front we were seated in the modern bit at the back which is light and airy and overlooks the gardens

We took my father for lunch and it was absolutely delightful. We sat in the sunny courtyard sipping wine whilst nibbling olives and bread awaiting our succulent steaks with veg and the best chips I've had in years, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Couldn't fault the service and the food was delicious.

We chose The Swan Inn to celebrate our first eat out experience with our close friends in 2 years! We enjoyed brilliant food, the Sunday roasts did not disappoint. The staff, welcoming, attentive and did not rush us. The atmosphere, delightful surroundings and decor made for a memorable lunch. We shall be back. What a gem of a place. Thank you for making our lunch extra special. 😋

The roast absolutely bangs! The beef was so succulent and tender, it just melted in my mouth. The roast potatoes were perfect, nice and crispy on the exterior and soft and fluffy inside. The star of the show for me though, was the gaint yorkie! As you can see from the photo 😋😋😋

We visited for a family meal 12/02 and couldn’t be happier with the experience. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Our food was all served at the same time for all 13 of us and all agree it was delicious. We would definitely book again. Thank you for having us!

5 stars all the way. Perfectly cooked Beef Wellington that was on special! Excellent mains and starters, service and atmosphere. We will be back.

Nice pub. Has some tables on the front and a big open space on the back for casual drinks or dinner. The inside restaurant is nicely decorated. They allow dogs in the garden as we saw few locals coming in with theirs.Food was very nice and we were served a very decent portion. We order gnocchi with prawns and pork belly with potatoes.Staff was very friendly.A little expensive, but is worth it.Will come back.

We came here for lunch on Tuesday and had such a lovely experience! I ordered the rainbow salad, my sister had the chicken gnocchi, my aunt had the fish and chips and my mum had the mezze starter. We shared halloumi fries, sweet potato fries and the bread and oil.My aunt said that after her meal, this is her new favourite restaurant, my sister described the gnocchi as one of her best food experiences!The rainbow salad was fresh but a little bland, I put some hot sauce on mine to add to the flavour.I couldn't fault the service if I tried! We sat outside and ended up with a wasp or two around our table (note: if sitting outside in the summer, don't buy a sweet drink!) and the staff helped us by lighting candles to deter them. They also extended our table to make room for all the food we ordered. I know the restaurant is under new management - I believe we met two managers or supervisors as well as our server, and they were all so lovely and welcoming to us!Would definitely suggest eating at this restaurant, I wouldn't honestly recommend the salads unless your dietary requirements limit what else you can have on the menu, though. Will for sure by trying the gnocchi without chicken next time!
