Lovely inn in a beautiful part of MK! Good food and atmosphere in quaint surroundings. Do visit if you are in the area

Not often we visit here but when we do the food is always great. With the sun being out it was also nice to sit in the garden which had plenty of tables to sit at. Bar staff are really pleasant too.

Very bland place!Just a handful of people there, no atmosfere, staff cold and uninterested in potential clients.Nothing nice on the menu, so just walked out and enjoyed a lively meal in a friendly and welcoming place like the Wolverton House.

Very poor, received email with voucher for 50% discount on food of new menu..When we got to the pub and asked if we could use the voucher, we were told that we had to pre-book and could not order food, advised to see the notice on the doorThey put up a small notice on the door which you would easily miss.We were told that we could go to Nut & squirrel in Westcroft who were accepting walk in for the food, we then drove to Nut & Squirrel, when we got there were told again that we had to pre-book for food. What a poor customer service from Ember inns. We will not be using this chain of pubs any more and let our friends know of they treat customer in this way.Would advise everyone to avoid this chain of pubs and take your custom to other pubs where they put customer first.

The assistant manager Ian was very rude and if not racist. The second me and my fellow asain friend walked in he was very rude and non welcoming to us telling us we can only have one drink. That said the other staff on shift where wonderful.

Great customer service in a very pleasant atmosphere. Drinks are very reasonably priced. A very pleasant experience for an evening out with friends.

This use to be my local pub for many years and have had many a drink with friends here but recently I visited after a long time away and happy to see some familiar staff faces still there who are all still as friendly and attentive as they have always been but must give an extra big thumbs up to the food I had, its was exceptionally good, cooked to perfection and so well presented!!! Can definitely recommend and will be back soon!

Update: The owner reached out to put things right and apologised. Thank you.Service here was the worst I've ever had. Left for 20mins without taking a drinks order. It was not busy at all. Had to ask to be served. Food was pretty sub standard and half the menu items they didn't have. Waitresses were to older ladies, couldn't put a smile on their faces. Very stern. Felt like I was hassling them asking for condiments. Had to ask to be served again for pudding and had to ask to pay the bill. No wonder this place was quiet. It's shocking.

The pub with the roof dog! Having lived in Whitehouse for nearly 2 and a half years, I visited for the first time yesterday. I'll be honest, crushed by this because it's a great pub. Good drink selection to cater for all, and a big one for me, Pepsi max on tap. Good amount of space indoor for dining and drinking. Friendly bar staff, nice big outdoor area and the food menu has plenty of great options. Then to top it off, when sat in the front garden in the covered sheds, you look up and can see the pub dog peering over the roof. Will definitely be going back!
