Wolverton House in Milton Keynes

2nd visit, first was a carvery everything was dry aside from the cauliflower and mash , second visit had the wrap , dough was so thick that was all I could taste , halloumi ? Couldn't taste it, chips dry will not be returning best thing was the free sauce

Went for the breakfast buffet, which was really good.4 stars, mostly because I can't really comment on customer service, as it was a 'help yourself' breakfast, but the staff that checked us in were lovely, friendly and welcoming.I'd also knock off half a star as the coffee wasn't great...but that is personal opinion, others may disagree with me there, but I found it a bit weak and like it bad been sat around for a while. Understandable, as it's made in advance and you just pour what you want as needed (it's unlimited tea and coffee), but it just wasn't a great coffee for me, sadly....However, the food was pretty good. I think it's basically what you'd expect from a carvery breakfast Buffett, fried eggs, bacon, sausages, fried bread, hash browns, etc.It was all good food, we all had a couple of plates each and shared some toast with our little one, which she was very happy with.It's a beautiful building location, tucked away from the road, lovely building and overall very pretty outside, very cosy inside.We will definitely go again, will also be going for a proper carvery lunch soon too!Definitely recommend.

Lovely staff, today we had Lucy as our hostesses everything was well organised with everyone's table reserved that had been booked by todays manager sheri. We will be back

We just came in and got seated. Food was lovely. Loads of roast potatoes! 🥔🥔🥔🥔 (Favourite)Everyone was friendly. Table service waiter was Lee. He asked if we needed anything else and was very polite. He even agreed to water the plant!We will definitely be coming again and will spread the word!Wolverton House is back..just as good as it used to be! 🙂🙂❤

We come here often with our 8 year old who loves the carvery. The staff are lovely and made an effort to keep our daughter happy when she didn't like her ice-cream. The food has improved but they should freshen it more often. Lee was happy to talk to our daughter too.

I came into today for a breakfast with my partner. Its our first time and I must say I was very much impressed. Eat all you want for not much more than a fiver. I was served by 2 lovely girls ( blonde manager and a red haired girl in blue t shirt) both helpful and friendly. The food was lovely especially the sausages. As we were leaving the roast had been put out and I must say it looked amazing so we will be coming to give that a go soon.

Food was absolutely wonderful, fresh, how, and surprisingly efficiently served for a busy Sunday! However an awful table took it upon themselves to swear, bully, make a lot of noise and be awful whilst children were present. One threatened to key the cars of staff, and were disgusting. Thankfully both the assistant and general managers were lovely, helpful, and apologetic, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort for the rest of our visit after the troublesome customers had left.

Have just ordered a take away. Had raging bull burger which was amazing! Partner had inferno pizza which he says had the perfect kick to it. We had a mixture of starters too, pepperoni in the nachos is a great touch. Top notch dinner! Thanks

Beautiful surroundings, great and very festive atmosphere! Festive meals very delicious and reasonably priced . Thank you to all the girls who had looked after us today !

I am writing this review on behalf of myself and Janet Oliver.We attended this venue for a wedding reception on the 18th September 2021.Lena the manager/owner decorated the rooms so well and their entrance was absolutely breath taking with a peacock taking pride of place on the stairs with flowers cascading down was truly outstanding.The food was excellent as were all the staff. The two gentleman who greeted us were extremely lovely and constantly helped anyone who asked.In the evening a chef sat down with some of the younger children and helped them make pizzas that they could then take home. A truly amazing idea and the kids loved it. Their great manner did not stop there as later on the chef then started to play with the children with their toys and even danced with them. You cannot ask for better staff. Well done everyone.I would highly recommend this venue for weddings, birthdays or even just a meal out. The staff are amazing and helped make this wedding reception a beautiful and enjoyable evening.
