Had a nice Sunday roast here. The food was fantastic and our waitress was lovely. I would have given it 5 stars except for 2 points: 1. The meat portions on the roasts were small. chicken=only 1 thigh and no sliced breast meat, beef=2 thin slices. The vegetables were very good though. Another slight irritation was we were sat near a door that was constantly slamming loudly as the waitresses went out to serve the guests in the tipi tent outside. Anyway we will come back and it looks like it would be epic in the summer.

A fantastic stop for Sunday Roast after a nice walk in the Surrey Hills. Amazing roast dinners (including the Vegetarian Wellington), good wine/beer list and a lovely atmosphere. They are also super dog friendly if you have a little four legged friend. I highly recommend this charming pub.

We come here quite often, so I thought I'd leave a review.I'm not from England and this place is exactly what you would expect from a cute country English pub - fire going, interesting architecture, cosy feel. It's a perfect place to end a walk. The pub is dog/baby/child friendly, the food is great, there are plenty of interesting vegetarian options and the menu changes seasonally. The staff are super friendly and it's always a relaxing experience.

I can't emphasize enough what a wonderful job Bradley and his team did of hosting our event at The Abinger Hatch. We were celebrating the lives of recently lost loved ones and we held the event in the Tipi.It was beautifully decorated, lit and heated, and all the staff were lovely and extremely efficient. The whole team made everything so easy for us, and there was always someone there with a tablet ready to take orders for the bar.The drinks we requested to be available in the tipi itself were well laid out and kept topped up. The buffet food was outstanding, and certainly nobody went hungry, there was so much to go around.I'd like to thank the whole team, including those in the kitchen that we may not have seen, for making what could have been a difficult day for us, quite a magical one.It really did offer a wow factor that surpassed any expectation that I came with. Thank you!

Wonderful lunch at Abinger Hatch. The food was delicious and plenty of it. The staff were very welcoming and there was no rushing you between courses. The pub is also dog friendly.. another major plus. We will definitely be back.

A really nice, atmospheric pub, flagstone floors and old beams. The setting is peaceful and rural, feels like an idyll in the middle of nowhere. Very friendly staff and an interesting menu containing a lot more than just the usual. Excellent gluten free offering as well. We'll be back.

Popped in for a few pints. Great selection on brews on tap and good service. The "Pump up the Jam" was yummy, I was surprized 🍺

Great country pub and a lovely place to stop off after a six mile walk! We booked Sunday lunch here and it was absolutely delicious! We had the garlic pizette to share to start which was lovely and then we all had a different roast. Gravy and Yorkshire’s were amazing! All washed down with a lovely bottle of Malbec it was a perfect Sunday afternoon. Service was efficient and they welcomed feedback which was good. We will be back in the next few weeks that’s for sure!
