We used to go a lot to Dorking Brasserie for takeaways. The food was always nice and the staff friendly. However its just too expensive these days. Even with 10% off for collecting it was nearing 80 quid for three of us after adding the usual extra bits. Its just too much. The portion sizes were not brilliant either, just around the halfway mark on the carton so nothing to save for next day !Sad really as I loved their food but we just cant afford it now :-(5 for food taste. Always tasty5 for staff. Friendly3-4 for portion size. Could be better considering price.3 for VFM. Let down by sheer expense.

What a disappointment. Queued to get in, eventually seated, even though we had booked, slow service, an hour to get starters!Mains were luke warm and paneer was cold, one of the main dishes was the size of a starter, staff didn't seem to care when we informed them the food was cold,2 drinks in two and a half hours!! As unable to get the staffs attention.Too many customers , not enough staff... couldnt have a conversation as too loud to hear each other. We will never be returning and wouldn't recommend going. Expensive for cold and tasteless food, should have gone to The Chilli and Spice in South Street.Response to owner.Cold food, soggy rice, rude staff is totally unacceptable in any establishment no excuse. Don't take booking if you can't produce good food and polite staff, an apology for the cold food, or at least not paid for the one that was ice cold in the middle!!! But no we paid in full and your staff were RUDEIt was the worst food where ever we have eaten. We will Not be back.

What a shame, the food was not to its usual high standard, Service was good, but unfortunately the food was not, Hopefully this was a one off, if not it will just become another standard Indian Restaurant.

Just had a takeaway. Curries were luke warm and didn’t taste as good as usual. Rice and Naan was fine. They have stopped providing complementary poppadoms! Given the overall price of the curry this is disappointing. Will look to try out the new curry house in Dorking next time.

Very disappointing order last night. Took ages to arrive (was supposedly out for delivery for about 50 minutes) and food was therefore Luke warm. Food was also very bland and lacked flavour. You’d honestly be better off with a Tesco readymea!! Restaurant communication is absolute rubbish and don’t seem interested. Just Eat aren’t interested as paid cash. Would seriously recommend avoiding.

Absolutely disgraceful. Waited over an hour and a half for a meal for two on a Monday night. Just eat app told me it had arrived 20 mins before it did so clearly they are fiddling the system. When I pointed out that the food was late the delivery driver told me he “didn’t care” and stormed off. When I opened the food it was stone cold. Appalling on every level

Been using these now about six months after our when we was using for about five years change management decided to try something else very prompt food was nice and hot and very tasty. If there’s any criticism would be that hot poppadoms could be a little bit crispier

I haven't been for few months and have just had the best meal ever. This has to be one of the best c

Used them for years, and won't for now on. Curry be for last went straight in the bin... thought I would give them a second chance.... ordered a curry. Didnt turn up. Phoned them and they gave me aload of what you don't want to hear. I asked for the owner as was spoken to not that good. I was speaking to the owner apparently. So not just is the food gone down hill the service is disgusting...Very very disappointed as loved this curry house but now won't be using it.👌

We’ve visited a number of times and always enjoyed the food immensely. Most recently I ordered a chicken Madras and I wish I was still eating it now! The multi layered flavours and the temperature was perfect for me, plus I have never eaten such tender chicken in all my life? Top score easily :)
