Il Capitano Italian Restaurant in Mole Valley

Heard loads of people talking about this place, so decided on a takeaway treat for father’s day. Phoned and asked to order some pizzas for a set time. Turned up at the restaurant, it was packed and the place was bouncing, but our pizzas were ready at the time requested, the staff were super friendly...got home and had the best pizza I’ve had in a long long time, they were absolutely delicious. Real quality, super cheesy and the wood fire really does make all the difference. Great to have this locally, can’t wait for another one, next time we’re going in to the restaurant for some of that atmosphere!

Three for two pizza today - doesn't get better than this, best pizza around, the flavour from the wood oven is delicious. Lactose intolerance? No problem, really good vegan mozzerella. Busy but great service. An absolute gem.

We've been a few times and the food is always amazing! Couldn't ask for better pizza or service, always friendly and welcoming when you go and such a gem to find outside of Italy. We live locally and use the takeaway service too, there are no bad things to say about this restaurant!!

Disappointed (to say the least). After being recommended regarding this place by a visiting London chef I know who makes a point of testing out pizza places around UK...and plus rave reviews here I was keen to say least. Imagine my disappointment when the overwhelming taste I got throughout was burnt carbon. If the underside and edges being charred black was part of Napoli authentic experience then I'm afraid it's wasted on me. Would have got lower stars , but the desserts were excellent and the staff very friendly and attentive. However won't be returning.

Fantastic food, lovely friendly staff. Small place so book ahead if you can but even if fully booked you can get a takeaway.

Spur of the moment dinner with a friend. We got the last table! Staff were very friendly and attentive but not pushy. Food was delicious! Pizza base was perfect and the toppings tasty. A visible decorative traditional pizza oven added to the ambience... and probably taste! Highly recommended.

My favourite restaurant! This place never disappoints, amazing crust on the pizza every time and the anti pasto is beautiful. Staff are absolutely fantastic and can’t do enough for you, great for families, great for couples, great for everyonex

Struggling to find a better word than perfect. The dough is perfectly made - thin with the perfect crust. The pizza is baked in the wood fired oven till perfection. The topping combination was perfectly delicious! Genuinely recommend this place. Treat yourself and you won't regret it, I promise you that!

This pizzeria close to Waterloo station in Crosby is absolutely fantastic. I have tried many pizzas in Italy and across the UK and so far this is one of the best. Definitely much much better than famous “italian” pizzerias in London. Very simple space with a simple menu, as you would expect from an authentic Pizzeria in Italy. The dough is absolutely delicious, with a high crust thinning towards the centre. The toppings are amazing. Perfectly cooked in a wood fired oven. Absolutely a must try if you are in Liverpool. Luckily I just moved closed by and I will definitely go back.
