Gorgeous setting. Definitely worth a visit

First time visiting Lakeside and have to say I wasn't disappointed. I had the vegetarian burger which was amazing and full of flavour. The staff were also very helpful and im looking forward to returning to try something else off the menu.

The lakeside view was amazing, seating areas both inside & outside. People fishing, kids playing, literally looks idyllic.Food was lip smacking, courteous & prompt staff, will surely go back and will recommend to friends.I ate the veg lasagne. Portion was pretty filling for one person.

Had breakfast here. Even though a grey damp day we still sat outside on their veranda. The food was excellent. Full English, plates were warm, food was piping hot & delicious. Beautiful setting despite the weather. Relaxed atmosphere but most of all the service was first class, friendly & professional. Thank you Molly.

After driving past many time I decided to investigate and boy I’m glad I did. Went for a full English in a lovely log building looking over the lake. The country was in flood but it still looked amazing and the lady in the cafe was there to serve and so friendly. I would have had a photo of my food but I never put my weapons down long enough to take a photo. Can’t wait to go back in summer. The lake looks beautiful. Thanks for a full belly today

Went to a wedding there recently. My wife went to the bar and order a J20 & pint of Peroni. These came to £5.10 which we thought was brilliant. I went up an hour later to find that the same 2 items were now £7.00. They had stopped using the till and for some reason started adding everything up on a calculator.The fact that even when you questioned the price he just turned around and walked away. A handful of people at the wedding also told me that prices had changed throughout the night.The venue itself looking fantastic but they BS at the bar with prices changing was enough to tell me not to come back here
