We had Sunday breakfast here in June & thought the place was such fun, no pretentiousness just honest food in a tranquil surroundings. Perfect for dog - toddler- mum & dad + grandparents. Definitely will visit again.

4 of us arrived last Saturday 18th , placed our breakfast orders and waited.. and waited..the kids working there came back 30 mins later to tell us we have run out of sausages, so we said to substitute for more hash browns etc, he went away only to come back 10 mins later saying they had run out of eggs, meanwhile still waiting for our cups of tea!Eventually our orders started to arrive one at a time! All were badly over cooked, with burnt bacon etc.The lads were apologetic and kept saying sorry for the misshaps, but this was not their fault as they had obviously had no proper training from their boss who was hiding in the kitchen whilst this was going on.Sadly we won't be returning to this epic mess of a so called cafe. Absolute joke!

Staff are so super friendly, it was Mothers Day and we all got a free yellow rose which I thought was such an amazing touch. The lake is beautiful to walk around, and the staff gave us some duck food and some bread to give the ducks, which my son absolutely loved. The food was super duper tastey, came out really quickly, and was everything we could have wanted and more. What a lovely morning!

A beautifully tranquil afternoon sitting in the sun by the fishing lake. The afternoon tea was really enjoyable and very good value.
