Very disappointing.Fish very overcooked - batter thin, very dark brown, hard and tasted burned. Was a large cod apparently, but wasn't very big.Chips greasy and so soggy that a lot of them had been mushed into a lump by the time I got them home.Mushy peas were edible.Sorry for unfavorable review but these fish & chips were not good

Good quality fish, more than enough small portion of chips, well cooked and overall delicious food.

One of the top 5 fish and chip shops in the country, Try it and see for yourself, Not over priced like some others I can mention.

Decided to pick up some fish n chips an route to in-laws in Leatherhead. Did same years back and was good but tonight chips were definitely not the best. Fish was nice however. Maybe one off and hopefully next time will be fine.

I honestly don't know how this place can serve food like this and get away with it. Almost 90% of the chips are just not edible, they actually taste like they are warmed up from either lunch or the day before. This is not the first time either, its a lottery, you may get good food one time if you're lucky. The fish given are the smallest bits of fish you could possibly find, like a battered carrot. The aftertaste actually left us feeling sick, our dog turned his nose up at the chips. Also when waiting in the store for your food you can sometimes see the staff removing chips off the top of your portion as if they've given you too many, the portion sizes for small are pointless.

Nice service, but food was rather small compared to the price. Pineapple fritters which were basically two tinned pineapple rings dipped in batter and served with a scoop of icecream cost Β£4.75.
