Lovely place for adults. Didn't know the area and took our grandchildren but it was only for a quick drink. Nothing really for them but a beautiful place.

Had a nice evening meal on a Wednesday. Friendly atmosphere and the food was great. Service was good and a good selection of drinks.

Very nice staff. I went to a wake and lovely food was put on. Like to visit again in the Summer evenings.

Went for Sunday lunch with husband and baby. Staff were nice but put us on a table really in the way so people kept walking into us which was very annoying - especially when we were trying to hold a baby. Felt very squashed.I had chicken which was really dry. Husband had a burger and said it was good. We didn't stay for long as it was generally not that great.

After a 3 hour hike we were ready for a pub. Most pubs around were really busy and despite the not so high ratings of this one we had a great time. We had the Camembert cheese, some pints and burgers. The burgers were very tasty and juicy, with two patties. Chips were great too. We were lucky to find the last spot to park so everything went smooth. Place has a nice fire going and family vibe. 100% recommended. By the way, service was good too.

Local, and very nice too. Clean lots of seating areas. Good kept beer. Nice staff. Good app.

Busy pub, great beer, really helpful & polite staff, and fantastic food. The 3 game bird pie was outstanding, best game I’ve had in years. Simply delicious. Highly recommended.

Arriving at the bell the staff were friendly and professional, we ordered our meals. My wife and daughter had a sandwich that included bacon they asked for it to be well done. It was not, I ordered a fish finger sandwich. It was full of bones. I asked the manager why it was not on the menu. There would be bones in the fish, she said sometimes there was. I have worked in the food industry for 30 years. That left me speechless. We will not be returning

Hello have been back again. Burger and chips were good. However the cheese cake was awful, it didn't taste of white chocolate or raspberry as described. It did have white chocolate and raspberry on it which tasted as expected. It didn't really taste of anything tbh was quite bland. The raspberry pavlova hardly had any cream in, it might might have been nice with cream but eating normal meringue with raspberry sauce isn't great. A few dots of cream to be fair.Battered fish and chips were good. The sticky toffee pudding with ice-cream is nice however but didn't have it this time.-------------------------------------previous review ------------------------------Was good food but not brilliant. Chips were great and crispy but the fries were not crispy. Broccoli was ok, but couldn't really taste the blue cheese. Steak was a bit tough to be honest.

Great local pub with a modern twist serving a good range of drinks and food. It has a really nice outdoor space and heaters to take the chill off while we’re not allowed inside due to restrictions. All the staff were really friendly and helpful and the food served was tasty and very hot. I opted for the Sunday lunch and was not disappointed, it was all cooked perfectly.Hoping to visit again to try out the burger shack and some of the other drinks they have on offer.
