Beautiful meal there! Everything great . Lovely food. Amazing friendly service. Easy parking right there. Great country pub. Lovely drinks and coffee. Had the chicken roast and the chicken was very tender.

Lovely place with really great food. We visited on a Sunday on our way to Cornwall. They had a table with free crafts (only Sundays) for kids which was great, kids practically spent the whole time doing crafts while waiting for the food. We had an issue with our order but the waiter was very friendly and made sure our food was ready ASAP after that. I would love to go back.

What a lovley country pub very warm friendly atmosphere even though we took our two young daughters the burgers were lovley perfecty cooked and very fresh. Compliments to the chef also amazing beer. Would highly recommend 👌🏻

Nice decor and got to sit next to an open fire. Good choice of beer which was fresh. Nice staff. Let down by a very processed cheap burger probably out of the freezer.

Lovely country pub. Beautiful setting. Lovely open log fire. Went there for lunch with a girlfriend. Service and food very good. Would have given 5 stars except for the fact the waitress didn't tell us about the local "Wednesday Gin offer" which we didn't know about until we were leaving, had I have known I would have had that instead of the bombay one I ordered as they didn't have Gordon's.

Not as good as it was. It used to be good food, decent value, friendly staff and landlord. Now it's mediocre food, expensive, stressed but friendly staff and a landlord who's clearly out of his depth.

Can recommend the beef cheek, not so the gamekeepers pie. The cheek was so tender and flavoursome however the pie was just mince with potato and more potato than mince. Staff were brilliant to start with but after mentioning unsatisfactory pie they cooled a bit. The Inn itself is a beautiful countryside dining experience.

Last week we had my mum's 90th birthday here in the back function room. All of the staff couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating in the run up to, and during the event. Thank you!!

I was expecting more than what I got. I had been in several time previous for drinks with friends and had no problems. For a Sunday it was quite, but there seamed to be an abundance of staff, which turned out to not be a good thing as they were all more focused on their own thing rather than serving us. It took over 5 minuets to get a bottle of cider and I could see the bar from my seat. The Food was tasty but after eating the meal I was just left a little disappointed. I had the fish and chips and I felt the size of the fish wasn't representative of the £15 price tag.

Excellent food and service. It was so busy on Sunday they had to turn some guests away so would recommend booking before you go.
