"The Coffee Shop is the smaller of our two cafes at Polesden Lacey offering snacks, cakes and pastries, coffees, hot pasties, sausage rolls and a selection of Jude's ice cream products for takeaway or to have indoors or outside in the courtyard. Dogs are welcome in this café. Our made on site bakes are back, as are sandwiches and baguettes made fresh daily!"

My husband & I, have a snack here, a once or twice a week. Always very popular, with outside seating, at the front & in the pretty gardens. Staff always very pleasant. Toasties & scones very tasty. Coffee & walnut cake DELICIOUS!!! Definitely worth a visit. Thanks all, Nuressa & Andy xx

Lovely friendly atmosphere. Bit disappointing for people as they were being turned away through lack of seating. Probably best to book a table to be sure. Had tea cake and cup of chocolate - lovely. Very clean, could do with being a bit warmer though

Went for a cup of tea and one bacon sandwich at 10.35 this morning. The tea arrived 25 minutes later and the bacon sandwich arrived 45 minutes later. The tea was then cold. Another lady, who was alone ordered a sausage bap 5 minutes before we arrived and still hadn't received it.There were at least 7 staff and was told that the breakfasts had to be got out but surely they could have added a couple of extra slices to the grill or 2 sausage to go onto the ladies bap. If we hadn't already paid we would have walked out. Very disappointed. We were not told about the delay when we ordered and didn't think that questioning the delay was being rude, the staff were very pleasant and we refused the compliment drink because it wasn't necessary and we certainly DID NOT want to be served before anyone else.!!!!
