A drinker's pub. No meals served. No TV screens. Pleasant atmosphere when we were there for a Saturday afternoon drink.

Lovely old pub just outside town ,great beer and lots of character

Nice pub, good selection of beers, groovy rock/beer garden with gazebos, outside heating and even a big TV.

On balance, a pretty decent pub. Fullers / Dark Star beers. Sadly at 2 pm on Sunday, there are only two others here. One is drinking lager. It’s probably no surprise then that the pint of ale I have (Dark Star Hophead) is at a good temperature and looks the part, but is devoid of life and character. It is inoffensive, but lacks what makes a pint of this fine brew special. 5 real ales with the turnover evident right now is sadly too many for them to be at their best. Interesting to see the two other customers vaping at the bar. It’s the first time I’ve seen it in a pub, oddly. It doesn’t create an unpleasant atmosphere, so it doesn’t worry me. I would not have noticed had I not seen it. Their conversation with expletives every other word is actually quite entertaining.

Great boozer, comfy place, make a big effort for its customers.Took one off for lack of nice outdoor space. Try Queens Head or Falkland Arms for better gardens.

Lovely friendly staff, welcoming and dedicated landlady, great selection of drinks and a very nice sun-trap garden out back. Plus dart board and selection of board games. Spot on.

Great beer & ale selection and welcoming feel and staff

Great little country pub with atmosphere. Excellent home cooked meals and service. We had meals here twice during a stay in Surrey and were welcomed back- host even recalled what we had ordered previous week.

We popped in for a drink whilst passing by. What a fantastic little pub! Full of character and atmosphere. it was full of people enjoying themselves & the landlord behind the bar was fantastic! we will be back when we are next in Dorking!
