The service was delightful: fast and extremely polite. The food was excellent: we got a tempura, that was fried very lightly, the duck was crispy and the jucy lemon chicken lived up to its name. We would come back and recommend it to friends.

Really lovely food had set menu 24 pound ,3 courses good portions so well cooked ,cloth serviettes the patron are very professional the restaurant is very clean and good decor it is a bit expensive but well worth a visit.

Really friendly staff. I have gluten intolerance and they were all helping me with information about the food. Great quality and very well served.

Food is always nice at the fountain garden but today, instead of a takeaway, we decided to eat in. Well....thank goodness for the good company and conversation because the service was quite below standard. We had to wait almost an hour between courses with little apology and being asked to pay the full service charge. I don't think I'll be back in a hurry which is a shame.

Nice enough location/building although I suspect the road outside is nearly always busy. Interior needs a revamp but has a charm. I normally find the starters are more interesting than the mains, but not in this case. Service ok. No real downside, but it is what it is. Haven't had Chinese elsewhere in Dorking so can't compare. Just a little jaded.

Good food, different to other Chinese takeaways I’ve been to with a variety of dishes.

Tried The New Fountain Garden (takeaway) for the first time yesterday. All of the food was excellent. Well cooked, good quality and clearly flavoured with herbs and spices rather than artificial ingredients. Pretty rare that I write reviews but this was the best takeaway we have had since moving to Dorking nearly three years ago.

Friendly staff, nice and good food. Reasonable price! Love the oranges they gv as part of compliments.
